I'm 40 years-old and loved balling in my younger years but never played organized ball and never learned the nuances of these moves. Now, in quarantine, I'm checking out these vids and having a blast practicing these moves in my driveway. Thanks DJ!

I am 45 and basketball was a very big part of my life. Had some success and even held my high schools record for all time leading scorer for 12 years. I can not imagine having access to training like this back then. It was so hard to learn moves. It was basically watch vhs tapes of college and pro games and mimic. I recorded the bulls lakers finals and paused and rewinded the tapes so much they snapped lol. Not to sound old but you young ones take advantage!

I mean biggest advice anyone can give you is get yourself a role model shooter, and just try to emulate what they do. Notice what you're doing that they're not and try to add and subtract things. With that you get your reps up too so you're working two major parts of your game which is reps and form. Reps with shooting is always the most important tho, gotta put in the time to get good.
@wavvy-zy57774 жыл бұрын
What I done is recorded myself shooting and broke down my form because I realized I was shooting side ways when I was at the top of my jumper kinda like lonzo but not as bad lol
@TrapRap374 жыл бұрын
Reps and fundamentals quit changing how you want to shoot because it looks good in your opinion, shoot comfortable and correct 🤘

Why do you have to drag back is it necessary to do that or can we just shoot it instead..it can improve our pick up and release too right?
@timschewe91174 жыл бұрын
Yes, here its for the sake of repping. u can shoot as well. (Its propably a home alone workout series, without gym/baskets)
@yesmymajestybut8984 жыл бұрын
Pull back if there is a need of separation, if your defender is heavily turned, you can just pull up.

The negative about practing moves is that you get caught in games trying to make moves instead of trying to get buckets.

Basketball is the worst scouted, coaches and trained sport don’t believe look at this video of a man doing scoring moves not facing the basket
