In this review, I'm going to take a look at another beer from Underground Beer Lab, and it's their Hop Theory Hazy IPA #9. This is a Hazy IPA that is brewed with Simcoe, Columbus, Amarillo Cryo and Citra hops. I love when breweries have a rotating hop series, and this specific release features some old school hops, which makes me happy. Is it good? Let's find out!

That sounds great. Love the old school hops mixed with a NE style grist. The beer that I always think of with that profile is The Substance from Bissell Brothers.

That is a good comparison. This felt like many old school Vermont/Maine IPAs from yesterday, just with a bit more hazy character (appearance and mouthfeel). I haven't reviewed The Substance, so I need to do that at some point. Saw a can the other day, but it was quite old, so I passed on it. Cheers again, Curtis!

Honestly, as finishing it off camera, it probably deserved a higher score. Such a delicious beer, Billy. Something that old school IPA lovers would enjoy despite the appearance. Cheers, buddy!
