Sisters I just want to mentiont something for anyone in need... that there are alternatives to perscription drugs for anxiety and depression that work very well. I work at a vitamin and supplements store and we recommend some specialized vitamins and minerals for mild cases. 5-htp, Ashwaganda and Magnesium Vitamin D and Reishi are all over the counter remedies. Lack of sleep can be improved with Melatonin and hormonal imbalances can be managed with improving gut flora by using pre and probiotics. Hormon replacement creams are also available for menstruating and menapausal women who might experience mood swings. Iman is such an addition to managing these problems and improving character and has helped so much. Mashallah

SubhanAllah, as a revert of 30 years it never made sense that our ummah was so backwards when the topic of mental health and overall well being was discussed. MashaAllah, love this awakening. As a Muslim licensed therapist how do I get involved with this research and working with you Dr Rania?

Dear sisters, my wife who is a convert, left unexpectedly a while ago with no prior notice. We have been married for almost 5 years and both of us are PhD students. I love her very much and I really don't know what to do. She loves Haut Hijab and she buys from your online store. I hope inshallah you have something to say about such issues and importance of marriage in Islam. May Allah help us all.

I could say so much that is a reality regarding female nature but at this moment it's not called for. All I'm saying is, now that you are FREE no matter how much love you still have for your ex wife, make sure you seek your happiness through the same things that women brag about openly these days. Your freedom is much better than having ties with an individual who does not probably never appreciated your partnership. That's only part of the harsh truth. Hope you find your own peace without having to rely on a marriage that brings nothing positive.

@@MacMac1313 plenty of men walk out on marriages too. Is that a part of "male nature now"? You can advice someone without putting an entire gender down.

@@MacMac1313 Brother don't bring feminism to us men. Marriage is the sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad pbuh. And whoever abandons his sunnah is not from us. May Allah help this man and his wife

I listen Rania Awaad always and I like listening her. However I’d like to point something. Rania Awaad said “Muslims doesn’t feel empty right?” - wasn’t a question but I’ll answer anyways: yes, they can feel empty. The problem is no one really talks about it. I don’t think we should never say “Muslim doesn’t feel …” we, Muslims, feel everything. (She might have not meant this but I’d like to clarify) Some might find it easy to pray and ask help from Allah. However in the state of emptiness nothings works. - nothing! Your ties with the world becomes so bleak and thin, therefore with your prayer. I don’t expect anyone to understand but I’d like to say: You can be a Muslim and feel empty inside.

I'm not stating that doing a job is haram...I am a doctor myself...it's good to be independent but whatever you do,do it properly, not merely for show... women have hijab for a day or two and then it's gone...its confusing...and then people get a chance to say and we have no answers... whatever you do,do it with conviction...don't make your own laws... either you follow it properly or you don't...there is no in between...I know people will criticize me...but I don't care, because, anything you do, do it wholeheartedly...and there is no harm in not wearing hijab... because hijab of your eyes is necessary... intention should be pure...I hope you all understand what I'm trying to say...if I've offended anyone in anyway, sorry for that...

Stop blaming anyone...yes it's true that women are taught to be in pardah...it's confusing because on one side they require pardah, and on the other side they show off .. disbelievers get a chance to question us... because we say something and do something else...even I as a woman am confused...these things have already been said by Mufti Menk...so why repeat it...we are contradicting our own saying and what is do you expect...people don't know what to follow...what explaination do you want us to give to rhe disbelievers...then we are speechless...and this is true ..they say things and we don't have an answer..no need to blame or taunt anyone...think about it

I love the topic, but the channel does not promote proper hijab. The make up and showing some of the hair, tight jeans. It is not hijab. May Allah guide us all and forgive us all
