Hope For Paws - Official Rescue Channel There is this dog in my street and the house is abandon and it has this gate where you could see the backyard and there was 2 dogs that starved and slept in the rain and someone killed the other one but this white one is still alive my grandpa told that the dog has been here for more than 25 years and the owner died long time and the people who bought the house just moved away and didn't take the dog i can't do anything to help it because i'm still a kid and my parents won't let me go out alone but i feel bad for the dog

For those of you who keep leaving negative comment towards the home owner please try to have some sense. Even though she was not his dog, he still feed her and allowed her to stay on his property. Other people would have called animal control on her and she might have been put down. You don't know why the man could not care for her, he could be battling a severe illness himself. Most old people know days have at least one illness.

What if one day your dog needs surgery? They're crazy expensive and you might not have that kind of money. And what if you live alone and work long hours? Social animals like dog's can't be left alone for long periods of time. Being a responsible pet owner is more than giving them food and shelter.

I agree ^. Though this person did not own the dog, and he probably had a reason for not being able to keep her. We don't know the reason so we shouldn't assume. It is the fault of whoever left her to why the dog ended up on the streets. The man did what he could, and that's a lot to say considering so many people wouldn't have even noticed or called animal control. But I am with you when you say that being a pet owner is more than food and shelter. Dogs need support and love too. To keep them not only physically happy, but also mentally.

Beautiful. The animals we’re eating have a ghastly life and fate as well. I had to stop eating animals after watching these rescue vids and seeing the emotion that animals have when their emotions are treated as inconsequential and they’re prevented from having social structure, bonds, room to move and more. The standard mutilations “necessary” to farm them on even the “best” farms give me nightmares. And torture during slaughter is routine. I doubted that at first and looked into it carefully using slaughter industry materials. Boilings and carvings before animals are dead due to fast line speeds. And the C02 gas is horrific. I left a lot out. I wished I had known earlier and I pass this on to all good people. Bless you.

It was nice of the man to feed the dog at least and give her a shoe box and let her stay inside the fence to protect her, some people wouldn't have done that much. Veterinarians are so expensive nowadays, people don't have money to take them hardly. The man probably called the animal rescue, or someone knew about it and called them, after they asked if it was their dog. I wish I could adopt her. She is very gentle. I hope she didn't lose her leg by abuse or anything. God bless her.

I think she has suffered abuse. She just looks so cowed, even when being patted. I hope whoever adopts her is able to arrange a prosthetic for her. A dog has much more health issues losing their foreleg than their back leg because it is much more disruptive to their gait.

It wasn't the homeowner that called animal rescue, it was somebody else. And that somebody else said that this dog had been living in front of the house for like 5 months, when the homeowner said it had been like 2 weeks. I dunno who to trust, but the homeowner's story is strange. Like this guy is just feeding the dog but not calling animal rescue, when he clearly doesn't want to own the dog??? wtf was he doing?? like it's great that he fed her, but his actions beyond that were bizarrely neglectful. maybe just unfortunately ignorant

I am so glad you were able to rescue this sweet girl and get her adopted! Thank you to the man who fed her, although I wish he would have let her sleep inside and called you more quickly than five months! As a human who has had acute anemia, I can say that it makes you feel weak and dizzy when you walk, to the point of having to sit down or you will faint. So this dog feeling that way, and then having to use her limited energy to hop on three legs, could probably hardly move. Poor baby! So glad she is safe now! 💝🐾🐕

Roy I have a brand new rescue baby. We've named him Benjamin Charro. He's only 10 weeks old. Anyway, his ears are bigger than his head too. I swear, he looks like he could flap them and fly right off. He's too adorable and is in full control of the house now. Even over our rescue Pitbull mix and Yorkie. Entirely spoiled rotten. I'm glad that my kids are teens now because he has to be rocked to sleep every night. Lol! We can tell he's asleep when those massive ears flop back. Best wishes.

Blessings to those who helped this poor dog. Animals and other species suffer a lot for their inability to speak our language. They go through lots of hardship,pain, suffering etc. In humans, there are people whi have everything, some even get everything from their parents without much trouble, but still complain about life. A little bit of love and compassion is what this world needs from every human being.

With respect to religion you've missed the trick, the cornerstone of all religions is compassion. Both the pope and the dalai lama have stated there are many roads to what they have described as one god - the same god they are sharing. If you're an atheist then you have a moral/ ethical code in which case the same fundamental precept still applies. Don't bother trolling me back, just try to educate yourself by applying empathy in practice. Ask yourself "did the statement I made display empathy and support to behaviour I believe is valuable to myself and others?" Keep asking yourself until you realise the answer is no, and then change for the better.

How can 800 people not like this? I think people misunderstand what it means to give a video the thumbs down. To me a thumbs down means you do not like the way this poor dog was saved and nursed back to health - that is despicable. The video is about how the dog was saved, not how it was originally mistreated. If a video showed how this dog was mistreated THEN you could give it the thumbs down.
