It was great that you showed the bite, and the reaction to the bite. Sometimes you can't save a dog without getting bit, and it just comes with the territory. The fact that Loreta was not angry with the dog about the bite was great to show the dog was just scared, not inherently dangerous.

Actually it's not all that uncommon for dogs to get lost out in the middle of nowhere. Camping trips, day hikes gone wrong or even running off from a rest area along the interstate have all ended with dogs getting lost. It's clear that at one time he was a pet, and, despite his distrust early on, he's obviously very happy to be back with people. If he really was dumped then I'm right there with you, but it is possible that his ending up out there was entirely by accident. Either way I'm just really glad to see that he's safe now.

I love these videos this is what I want to do in my spare time when I'm older and not busy I love dogs and so far all dogs I met didn't hurt me. I calmed down a very skittish husky and the owner found me and told me I was the only one who he ever let anybody get near

my mom is not a fan of pets because their **to much work** even though I offer to take care of them. I have a dog cat and fish I take care of all of them. (Except I can't walk my dog because she is very strong so someone else needs to do it or I get pulled away XD)

It’s amazing how loving these dogs are when they have been mistreated and dumped. Yes he was so scared and it was his only way of defending himself but what a sweetheart he turned out to be.
