I don't understand why people think it's fake or staged. They recorded so many times and dream quickly died most times (which aren't uploaded obviously). Dream's explanation in the analysis makes perfect sense to me. No one in their right mind would expect dream to do that. No matter how good they are.

@@WhyMaleModels3 There are aspects of it that are played up, definitely, and some editing goes on behind the scenes in order to tell a better story. But the actual events of what's happening are genuine. They do countless attempts of these that you never see because Dream dies too quickly for it to be an interesting video, so yes, what you see is deliberately only the best product. But they are not outright staged like some movie, if that's what you think.

From a recent explanation from Dream himself, Sam was ever so slightly off to the side setting up a 2x2 water source, when a sand block he broke triggered a cascade and took him with it. You can see the before and after of what the area looks like starting at 0:28 and again at 0:31 when Dream makes the jump. You can hear him say he's about to make an infinite source, and then say "Oh I fell in a hole", and the hole that appears is visible if you compare before and after. Just a case of REALLY unfortunate timing on the Hunters' part.

@@tanmays7402 Unless you have information I don't, there's not enough information to conclude that it's fake. Just like there's not enough to conclude that it's legitimate. So what we need to be looking at is whether the events are too outrageous to be true. Sam being taken out of commission because of an unfortunately timed sand-pit trap feels unlikely but not out of place. They're in the biome most likely to have those kinds of traps, there's no warning sign to help you avoid falling for it if it happens, and he had every reason to be digging into the sand at the moment the bucket was thrown. Sapnap's ill-advised bucket throw was a tactical misplay, but of the "only really obvious in hindsight" variety. It's not reasonable to say that he would definitely have thought about Dream stealing it in midair and thus wouldn't have done it. Could he have realized that? Sure. But the lack of that realization isn't proof of a staged event. And finally, there's the part we don't see. The gang has straight-up said that not all Manhunts they've started have made it into videos. A great many of them end too early and too anticlimactically to be good content, so those runs hit the cutting room floor and we never see them. So the fact that every video seems to contain some awesome moment like this is fully expected when they're only uploading videos that are as awesome as they're comfortable with. Does any of this prove that this moment isn't staged? No, of course not. But it takes away all Reasonable Doubt, and even for someone who's been caught cheating before, it's Innocent until proven Guilty. But of course if you have some proof I'm unaware of, I would of course be willing to listen.

@@riluna3695 the water bucket trick is the most obvious example of dream scripting his videos. you dont need a brain to realize reality tv shows and fiction movies are fake. you can just tell because its obvious and you have a brain. sapnap dropping a water bucket to nobody on the ground and everyones fake reaction afterwards just proves it was all planned beforehand. once you see that and look at the rest of the videos you can see how fake their reactions are, or how they dont hit dream when hes at low health, or how they always come with full iron armor instantly after they die which should take a while to find. if u cant realize all his videos are scripted and fake and planned out beforehand, you should watch reality tv and tiktok videos to get practice for telling whether or not videos are staged
