I love how they use every part of the animal and have a deep respect for nature. Beautiful!

Fantastic! Very informative and these Finnish people remind me of native Americans with their practicality and reverence for nature...

I think you should say lapland people, i live in the south of finland and here, it looks alot like the america of today.. I hope people here would respect the nature too.

OMG reindeer on the loose! That is both crazy and actually super intriguing that they just run loose!

What an amazing adventure. Too bad you didn't get to experience the staying in the tents. So cool!

***** so cool. Thanks for sharing. If you ever come to Minneapolis, I would be up for a geocaching colab.

Those tents are actually similar to what the Finnish army uses. Trust me, I've slept in one many times during my service. If they have a stove they are easy to keep warm even in freezing temperatures like -30 degrees Celcius, -22 degrees Fahrenheit.

The necklaces are so cute! Also the rowing adventure must be really fun. Tiring maybe but you probably get more of a feel of the culture that way.

Summer = nice and warm, never dark. Winter = usually snowy and cold, always dark.
@Esarix10 жыл бұрын
Tuppoo94 But in the winter, that atmosphere. We used to make some food by the fire at the woods, used the snowmobile to make a trail. It was dark ofc, and trees and everything heavy of snow. And by the trail, put candles in the treebranches. Felt almost magical. :)

Narza85 If you're on a holiday it's amazing. But if you have to wake up at 6 AM to go to work for about half a year in the winter it can get tiring and depressive. It doesn't really happen to me, but it's common to hear people complain about it.
@Esarix10 жыл бұрын
Yeah I get it, when you go to school/work it is dark, when you get to go home, its dark again. But in the winter we tend to relax more because of that. Watch some TV, and go to sleep a bit earlier. And in the weekends wake up earlier. Family friend said once that "they should let whole lapland retire" :D And kinda get it. In the winter, you cant do really much work at home. And in the summer you can do so much that you really dont want to go to work, often far away from your home.

Loving your videos! Thank you for visiting Finland and sharing your experiences! In the future, if you find it interesting that is, I'd love to see you guys travel to South Korea. I visited S Korea last summer and it was AMAZING. You guys seem to know what to do and where to go. How did you come up with all these things?
