So much respect for Hopsin. Very few artists these days speak the truth like he does. It sucks that he is out of Funk Volume because he essentially built it from the ground up and it was very dear to him, but I'm glad he disassociated himself with Damian Ritter. I look forward to how Hop continues to grow in this new direction under Undercover Prodigy.

I don't really know any of his music, but he is extraordinarily cool, calm, collected and articulate for a rapper. He is exceptionally grammatically correct and is able to enunciate and explain concepts in ways that rival people who give formal speaking presentations. That's unusual for rappers these days. Bravo.

I knew Hopsin was 30 or around 30 but it's still weird to hear him say. He seems younger than 30. Also at the end he touched on what the other Funk Volume artists are doing and he mentioned Jarren Benton is doing his own thing now. I never really followed Jarren Benton like that before but he seemed like a cool guy and I got a lot of respect for him after hearing his take on this. Dizzy kind of sided with Dame, but Jarren didn't really take any side. He pretty much said he doesn't have a problem with Dame like Hopsin does, but he can't go on with Funk Volume without Hopsin. It said it just doesn't feel right to be claiming Funk Volume if Hopsin, the guy who started it, isn't even part of it anymore. That's real shit, they should all have that mentality.
@bonganitejane63158 жыл бұрын
