Hop sat down with Nick for over an hour to explain how things got to this point and why he has walked away from his own label Funk Volume and his distribution deal with WBR. Hopsin breaks down why he is no longer talking to his former Funk Volume partner Dame and how things are with the rest of the crew including Dizzy Wright and Jarren Benton. when dame told hopsin he doesn't work hard, he was talking post music creation. when hopsin creates music, he doesn't do any promotion or anything after the fact and expects the label and everything to market him. the distribution deal most likely wasn't about marketing, it was about making the music easily accessable to consumers. that's why his views were the same. dame was just trying to say hopsin didn't work hard after making the music, but agreed that hopsin is probably one of the more hard working artists in the game in terms of making the music. i'd like to hear hopsins response to this, because this is what dame claimed to have meant by him not working hard.
