Due to the way we record our and release our videos, some get held back a bit and are recorded before certain events happen. The unfortunate Covid-19 events currently taking place are wiping out any social events such as concerts. We realize the events we talk about in this video will be cancelled or re-scheduled. Hopefully everyone is staying safe and doing their part to help contain the spread of the virus. In due time this will hopefully be over and we can retain our normal lives again. Thanks for supporting us along the way, you all ROCK! \m/

Dan Harris has it right! These ladies are improving and this latest video really shows it. Saiki voice is stronger and she commands the crowd, Miku's guitar playing is really shining and Akana beating the hell out the drum kit and Kanami shredding and of course, Misa and that bass, wow. the new Domination release is a must watch.

When i first heard this I was underwhelmed, and kind of disliked it , but after a few listens , and listened to what the instruments were individually doing. Wow ! Now its a favourite of mine. Serious song , serious playing. it's like a real grower on you. Band Maid does it again.

This is the one produced by Tony Visconti (David Bowie,T-Rex among others) He asked to produce a song and this was the result. The reaction to it has been pretty mixed. I like it, but it's not the Band Maid I love from a production standpoint. It's nice to see them stretch out, and do different things musically and with a video with powerful imagery to back it. It's not your usual "feel good" Band Maid.

I think the thing I like the most is how different it is from their other music and still rocks.

I love this song Because it's different. I really like the hard/classic rock blues feel to it. It just simply rocks! I love the lyrics too. More appropriate then ever tight now! It's also really cool they have big guys in music seeking them out to work with them!

Dude, Misa's bass reminds me of Jeff Ament's sound (Pearl Jam). So thick and punchy! Although it's not a pure Band Maid's song (written by Tom Kenney and produced by Tony Visconti), it sounds great, like a classic rock mixed with bands from the 90s (with a 2000s sound).

It still sounds like band-maid song although it's different. My first reaction was 'umm, I'm not so sure about this one' but l kept listening to it few times and l like it. It's a grower.

I dig this new tune from the Band-Maidens. It feels like it has a shade of Led Zeppelin in its DNA. I do believe it is the first song by them that is entirely in English.

@@TomClark-Futoura One might suppose the lyrics to Don't Let Me Down are right in character when one considers the gap. Miku has said several times that she wrote the last sentence to Starting Over precisely for that reason.

@@sacluvsBM I'm sure they were -- much more in the early days -- trying to get attention. And a little salaciousness never hurt anyone, right? But I wonder what the actual Japanese lyric meant to them vs what it literally means to us English speaking people? Do you think what was presented to them had a tamer or raunchier meaning if sung in Japanese? In any event, no matter how one looks at it, you're right: it falls into the gap. Maybe so much, its the reason they don't play it much. But it does get a great response in the States 'cause of the music mostly, I think.

It gets weirder guys.. The animation artist who produced Sponge Bob Square-paint and did the voice and singing for that character , actually brought the band to the attention of producer Visconti, and Visconti asked him to write the English lyrics for the song. The girls recorded all the stems and parts for the track in Tokyo and Miku and Saiki travelled to New York to assemble the tracking and do the Vocals also recorded T- Rex in 70's too.. I got this info from translated interviews with the girls.
