Probably the only person Ayanokoji respects the most in this school is Horikita Manabu. That's why he takes everything he says seriously and actually puts efforts to complete the tasks he gives. Not to mention Manabu also recognized kiyopon's talent and skills from the episode 2 of the series so the respect is mutual between them.

These last two episodes are my all-time favorites of the whole show. PS: By the way, I don't think they ever explained how Ryuen "cheated" in the final exame which is almost funny considering that in these two final episodes they will keep reminding you that he did, but you literally have no idea what they're talking about.
