You don’t see much of remi and Sengoku nor their dynamic. But in the manga you see it, they are 100% cute af. Remi is not faking being weak necessarily, she rather sees opportunities of situations in which she can push him out of his comfort zone and encourages that. But they are healthy as hell. In the manga you see they are the one relationship that is ALWAYS settled lmao. Together since they are introduced until the end.

I love Horimiya, but I do have one complaint about the anime that you will probably hear other people say too. That the anime skips a ton of the manga, and therefore, there is less story/character development in the anime than in the manga. So if you're enjoying the anime, I really recommend reading the manga to get even more background on everything. Note: it's not only how Kyoko treated Sengoku when they were growing up together, but also how she treats her father that provide clues to her kink. 😛

(Edit: I may be confused and that's from a future episode?) 19:00 From a previous episode when Sakura asked what Sengoku like about Remi he said that Remi made him want to be stronger to protect her. Remi isn't pretending to be weaker than she is to make him LOOK strong. She's trying to encourage him to make himself stronger.

Hori-san really got that kink though. (Only a manga spoiler) Her and Miyamura actually get into fights because Miyamura doesn't do that enough. They do have a few more scenes in the anime. But she gets pissed and they'd get into arguments about him not yelling at her enough.

In the anime, you don't get much of Remi x Sengoku, so that's why it may look that way to you, but, from what I read in the manga, they have the healthiest and most prosper relationship of them all. Actually, the worst relationship might be Hori and Miyamura, all jokes aside. They are a little too different and Hori, sometimes, pushes Miyamura way too hard and that might break him in the long run. This is just me, I might be reading too much into it. :)

I actually think it's all time dependent! Remi x Sengoku is amazingly settled because they've been together awhile so they have figured a lot out, Hori x Miya is actually still in the developing stage, so we won't know what happens but it has been a very healthy start, as though Hori pushes Miya hard they do communicate and talk things through ^^ I think both reles are just very healthy examples of young relationships! :D

I feel a bit sorry for Miyamura. He really doesn't like to mistreat Hori and it pains him, but he's willing to do it for her sake. I don't think I could ever strike my wife (or anyone) like she wants.
