I think Hori is used to keeping her emotions in and act like an adult ever since she was young that’s why she seems to have more baggage than Miyamura

It's not covered in the anime, but in the manga it's hinted that Hori has always had a violent streak in her (and she gets it from her mom) 😂😂😂

9:00 So I don't know for sure if that's how it's in Japan too, but in Indian households, the father-in-law relation, is kinda very similar to the relation you have between you, and say an elder brother. So hope that, actually makes some sense. :)

21:24 I've suggested this before and I would like to suggest it again; Are you guys planning on watching the Monogatari Series anytime soon? It has many of these 'visually interesting' scenes and a lot of symbolic shot compositions and camera work. The show deals a lot in exploring it's characters and dealing with their internal struggles. It also has a brilliant overarching narrative accompanied with the smaller arcs, the soundtrack is one of my favorites and the humour and gags are well-timed. All in all, I would love to watch you guys react to it.

I feel sorry for Miramura. He's trying so hard to make Hori happy but it really pains him to be mean to her.

I think once he really saw how happy it made her, that little 'heartbeat' sound we heard was him basically accepting it. Add in what he said after, and it seems like he's gotten over his squeamishness regarding it. So yeah, it took some adjusting and he had to do some internal maintenance to be okay with it, but most of his issue with it is not understanding how she could enjoy it. Once he recognizes that she DOES genuinely deeply enjoy it, he decides not to continue tormenting himself with questioning it, and he's fine with it.

They just fit a lot of different chapters in one episode. That’s usually what they do in all episodes, but they def fit more stories and jumped more things in this episode than others. I think thats why it feels a lil weird.

@@BOLDcast the pacing is off from the beginning the manga took awhile to establish the relationship, they skipped that Yuki had a crush on “Konoha san” AKA long haired Miyamura, they skipped my favorite chapters which are the trip chapters! Also Sota in the manga had an arc
