@@jules0519 yes. Was supposed to focus around the Oseram (similar on how the frozen wilds focused on the Banuk). Entrance to the New area should have been that giant door in the north near that one Oseram village (forgot its Name, been awhile since last time I played ZD). But now looking at FW I would assume the littel that they already planned for the DLC was put into the beginning for FW.

I just beat the first mission of burning shores. So far I'm loving the new location, new machines, and new characters.

One thing to note, if you only follow the main questline of Burning Shore with Seyka, you'd only explore less than 1/3 of the new map. The rest you'd explore with sidequest or you'd have to explore on your own to find more secrets or upgrade materials.

Gotta say story was solid, I just wished it had more side quests. But then again the ones that you get actually have meaning and sets a certain tone for what's to come. Which makes me want more from this game, so they need to announce something soon as in future content because I devoured this DLC as much as I did with horizon zero dawns release.

The Stormbird in the clouds it's actually a mission; he always destroys your sunwing, it's scripted, and then when you fall, he comes down with you and you have to fight it to explore the area without the storm and thunders and start the quest (it's for a flying watchpoint, actually can't remember how it's called now)

When you craft ammo in wheel, excess ammo is sent to your stash so it's no longer wasted.

You don't need to waste time and ammo shooting stinkspawn individually, the easiest way to deal with the ones that have hatched is to use electricity arrows on them. Because they fly in groups you just use one arrow and the electrical detonation spreads to the others and blows them up.

Tip for ya! In my play through I found if you fight the stormbird which results in losing your sunwing before the 3rd main mission Heaven and Earth you’ll get the Mount back during that mission. 👍

yeah, i did the 1st side quest immediately, rocking the new Quen outfit and put on the same purple dye, with the multi-dot face paint! :D I havent played for a while, took me a minute to get back on the game. Using the DualSense Edge feels really good here (i put the jump and dodge on the back buttons).

When the storm bird hits you and you plummet, jump off and glide down. The Storm bird will follow you and then you can kill it on the ground and the storm is gone.

Hey jorr remember the storm bird in the clouds that you asked for people to share if they figured out what to do with it well what you do is follow the scan trail like you would an aerial capture you have to fight the storm bird after it grounds you it was there after i went back from reloading

What actually surprises me is the fact the castle & the Hoover dam sections donot seem to have been used in the DLC. I know this was largely speculation for a very long time, but going by new information it doesn't seem to have been used in the DLC at all, could those sections just be unused content that's been left behind? About that new outfit, it obviously requires 2 legendary armor coils of a certain type (stamina max + stamina regen + deep focus) to beat the previous best outfit. But the shop only sells one, and the other one is obviously out there on the map somewhere, due to my experience that there have already been 5 ancient large chests give legendary armor coils. But I really cannot find THE certain type of the armor coil, which makes this new outfit useless right now.

I've said this many times. What I REALLY want, are two things: A way to track the data points so I can gather all the Lore. And 2, a way to CUSTOMIZE me Weapon Wheel. That way I can place my weapons were I want them, and control thierammo types placement: left-center-right, and top-middle-bottom. That way I can place my explosives, elemental or piercing ammo together and ot end up MISCLICKING!

I'm part of the lgbtq community, and even I was starting to feel weird about how there are very few honorable male characters, and how there are so many lesbian characters. So, many side quests had lesbian characters. It's not even representational of life. Then the ending seriously threw me off, cause it just felt so out of place. There was no real story development for that love scene in the end. It seriously felt like they just threw it in to make 'woke' quota deadlines. if the 'woke' crap was just better written it would be so much more accepted, but at this point, it's really becoming a problem in ruining the art of storytelling. I can't wait for this ridiculous fad to end. Unfortunately, so many of the stories we hold so dear will be ruined by the time that happens.

The spectre gauntlet was interesting to play around with...but not having proper upgrades like other weapons for improved stats or even any coil slots to improve it further kinda limits it on higher difficulties to a small/medium machine killer or part breaker

Agreed. On Ultra Hard, it's not very impressive. Honestly, it's not been useful at all. I'm not giving up on it, yet. I'll keep trying it in different scenarios and will keep an eye on what other players discover. It could be I've simply not been using it optimally.

From what I've read online after noticing it does have one upgrade slot but no apparent way to upgrade it you can apparently find the upgrade for it in a camp in a later quest that also allows you to fit a single coil in it but I haven't reached that part yet, I'm only up to being about to start the Waterwing quest.

0:55 auto pickup doesn’t pick up a ton of stuff for me… anything that is currently full. Kinda sucks. But neat nonetheless. Don’t really understand why they are limiting it. I am partway through NG+. I’m trying to barrel through the remainder of the story to play the DLC but I’m just not that kinda player. So it’ll be a few days before I get to it. Tough will all the games that recently came out and are coming out soon. Jedi Survivor for instance. Just wrapping up my replay of that too

Huge still black screen thing in both main & Dlc repair bay cauldron not detecting complete or Gemini cauldron all quests are complete cauldrons are complete according to map & quest menu these two cauldrons don't appear in cauldron menu is machines. Question 🙋🏻‍♂️ northwest of the shared slaugherspine/thunderjaw location between two campfires is brimgleam location underground that I can’t figure out how to get to? I found the cliff side outcropping but can’t get past the fence. It’s also northeast of the quen settlement

Apparently if you do the jump then pullcast move to the first yellow handhold it pulls you up to where you can grapple strike through the gap to the vent. Haven't been back there to try it out yet after reading about how to get through that gap, still have to get it myself.

Sadly I'm not able to play this since they decided not to release on PS4. Hopefully we'll get a PC port sooner rather than later, I'm not buying a whole PS5 just for one DLC when I've already got a perfectly capable gaming PC.

You should really learn the Arena duplication tricks. I have hundreds of every weapon mod and armour weave even the rarest special ones you should only be able to get one of and special arena only mods and weaves you normally can't even get. Plus Millions of shards and tonnes of resources. I never have to worry about money I can apply whatever I want, to whatever I want and not have to remove mods or weaves from others to swap.
