As someone that's been hooked to this game since the initial trailer release back in 2015, I'm soo hyped for this, can't wait to put 2+ years of gameplay into this one much like I did with zero dawn and so glad I was able to get a ps5 recently, keep up the great work GG, can't wait to see how the 3rd instalment looks.

These will be 2 very long months... Bummed I cannot play it over Christmas now. But with Corona, I understand it was necessary for the teams to have more time to finalize the game without huge stress, I can completely relate. Anyway, Aloy will be my Valentine next year, cannot wait. This looks spectacular, the new machines are fantastic. Here is to hope that some of the Carja' sundom machines of HZD will make an appearance in the Forbidden West too, thinking about the staple Thunderjaws and Watchers of course, in an updated version matching the colour schemes of FW?

Honestly. Gorilla should get an award for putting their Machines together. The time and effort for each one had to of taken a bit. Each ones design is so complex and stunning. The armor and body details creating a sense of density. Like there is actually room inside each one to hold the systems and components that are used to attack and such. The armor feels meaningful. Like its put there for a reason. Not just strewn about to look cool. And where its not occupying space on a machine it feels that its like that way because it would hurt the machine to have it there. Taking into account where armor pieces would realistically would and wouldn't be if it were real life. The machines also feel like they exist for a reason. Each one exists for a reason. It isnt just a general "they fix the earth" in some sort of lore page but instead they show us what each machine kinda does to achieve this goal. No machine feels unnecessary. As if they were designed around an actual system. And not just to give us enemies And each machines attacks and abilities are also really detailed and great. All the non combat made machines attacks are made in away that has it make sense. As if they adapted to fight. Using the components ment to keep the planet thriving as weapons. For example. The scrappers using their lazer ment for cutting up dead machines to make it easier to grind instead use it as a long range weapon. And lastly. The animation and behaviors. The animations look amazing. everything on a machine moves with a purpose, like on the new cobra creature. The spinning parts look like they are ment to dig into the ground for grip. And their behaviors make sense. Honestly the detail in every aspect of the machines is stunning These things are amazing. And everyone at gorilla who help make them did an unreal job. You guys are awesome.

I got my Ps4 at the end of the generation after not having a playstation since ps2, Horizon Zero Dawn was my first game I played on ps4 and got the Platinum too, after watching this video if anybody cannot get excited over this they are dead inside, what a job Guerilla!!

@@guerrillagames while I have you, fast question: the Cobra, are those rotating gears ⚙. Very cool, they look like the painted bands on a Coral Snake. But my question: are those meant to function like omni-directional wheels? If thats the case, this machine could move in literally almost any direction and over almost any surface. If it was buoyant enough, they would even be able to churn water like the intake of a purport toin engine.

I thought the npc interaction of the first one was ok but I hope if this Aloy series does end that they make new games on the lore that you can customize and build things more. Maybe make it sort of like Fallout. That could be pretty interesting to be honest.

Guerrilla have been my fav Sony devs since Killzone 2 and 3 (freakin amazing games) but since my online playing time was mostly split between Killzone 3 and Uncharted 2. I always dreamed of Guerrilla making a 3rd person game. So ofc Horizon had to become one of my favorite game on Ps4. But...since I always imagined them making a tps, I'm still hoping that will happen one day.

We've not heard much about difficulty, I really hope they keep it similar to the first. I loved doing a "normal" playthru first time then doing a "Very Hard" and finally a NG+ "Ultra Hard" while at the same time someone can play on "story" if they want and still experince the world of Horizon!
