@Koriander Yander I really think you shouldnt do it, and the reason why you want to use estrogen is totally different from the person in the video. The reason why she used it is because she felt very dysphoric about her body because of the sex she was assigned at birth which can affect your mental health very much. Maybe you can do this as a cis woman but I don't think it's necessary, if you want to do it you need to check with your doctor and look at some examples of women doing it for your reason.

That's awesome that you're informing yourself! One thing though: say "trans girl" instead of "transgirl." A lot of transphobic people will leave out the space because they don't want to treat trans women as women, so they act like "transwoman" is a different thing from a woman who happens to be trans. Dear Mathilda , I always love watching your videos. I'm a trans woman myself , 26 years old , have been on a regular dose of hormones from 19 to 21 and then I was forced by my family to switch to a low dose of HRT. I have been on low dose of HRT ever since. I'm 26 now , regularly get male fail , grew my hair out and was forced by my family to put social transition off. Now it has taken its toll on my mental health. I have a good job , I just finished a Ph.D. but I am not where I want to be. I realised a couple years ago that I need to go all the way to be happy with myself , just like you. You are one of the few trans women KZbinrs I can relate to because I'm a straight trans woman myself , just like you. I am an outlier because most of us who knew as children are already fully transitioned for a long time at my age , so I am sad for all these years that I lost but better late than never. I hold hope because I have seen lots of successful transitions from women who transitioned after age 20 and I have good ingredients to work with : I'm 5 feet 5"6 and have a naturally feminine voice already. Just like you I want breast augmentation and SRS. I am most scared of dating post op. I am scared how a straight cis man will react when we hit it off and I will have to tell him that I had a male gender marker on my passport ID until the latter half of my 20s. I relate so much to you because we are around the same age and just like you I am a very chatty person who can go on and on for hours talking :D I also am very open about myself . I love how society is becoming so much more tolerant towards girls like us as of lately. I still have a long road to go but channels like yours give me hope for my future. Much love and keep up the good work 🥰

Trans girl here🥰 I came across this video and started thinking about glottoplasty, my friend advice me to try one last vioce coach before giving up after I spent so much money already on the big names, well I didn't want to but she managed to convince me, she knew I was fed up of trying too much so the surgery was my best option and I also hated going under the knifes since I was born with a very feminine body and just the organ was different... I followed through and signed up on a low price with Nature's Craft zoom classes( check my description for info) , I'm so glad I did this because I got to meet other transgirls and they so cool everything was done with fun, so much communication and understanding. I can talk with my female voice and switch to male voice, this really boosted my self esteem and confidence.

I am a speech therapist that specializes in transgender voice therapy and I want to make sure everyone who is transitioning, or non-binary, or wants the ability to code-switch or whatever your need is, understands that she found a voice she identifies with by working with a professional. Be it a voice coach or speech-language pathologist, you want to have professional guidance because if you try to shift your voice this dramatically you can seriously damage your vocal folds and cause real pain and dysfunction. Wonderful video, great explanations.

My gender dysmorphia is where all my mental state issues sprout from. My friends know I desperately want to transition but I’m afraid to come out to my mom as I’m 17 and if she doesn’t accept me I have no where to go as my dad left when I was 3 months old. Soon I am gonna start buying makeup, clothes and wigs to live out the life I want to. I just don’t want it to be a private only type thing (I can already do a girl voice so going out in public like it doesn’t scare me) I just really hope that soon I will be confident enough to come out and start on hormones to hopefully be who I truly am 🙏

First of all I am not transgender or tend to change my gender but I found this topic so interested, I also came here cause I have a transgender friend or for him (ftm) and for other transgender people in the world, I want to educate myself a little bit more about it, but I honestly love this! It is so fascinating how our body works and how technology is so advanced that people are able to get biologically for masculine or feminine! I genuinely found it so interesting. And the fact that someone (a transgender person) already went through what both a male feels and what a female feels biologically, and then you have the privilege to compare it cause you actually lived both… it’s just so amazing! And I love the way you speak so naturally about it, if definitely makes people see it as a normal thing that it is!🤩fascinating!!!!

I love learning about trans women and their experience in hormonally turning into women. All the things you describe (emotions, reactions, looks etc) sound so familiar, but its so empowering to me as a cis woman, to hear it from other women who are new to the effects of estrogen ❤️ the way you explain it and put things into perspective makes me feel so grateful to be a woman! HRT doesn't work for everyone in the same way.. I started HRT in my 20's back in the late 1990's and have had little to no physical effects from it.. However it did help me mentally cope with being trans just physically I got no response from it.. Over the years I have been to three different Endo's and they really don't know why.. They just remind me that everyone reacts differently to HRT.. At first I was on Premerin - Spirno then later Estradiol - Spirno - Progestrone.. Done pills.. patches.. injections.. Sometimes I think my body is just missing something that makes it responsive to HRT.. However as I said it has helped me a lot mentally which is why I have chosen to stay with it.

@@blessedsistertrazorofthefi4077 I heard of someone else once a while back that had a reaction to HRT as well and had to stop. Fortunately I never had an adverse reaction to the medications over the years. Not even a listed side effect. In hindsight I would say for me at the minimum HRT has slowed or stopped the damage of testosterone but not much more. Never got breast development or change in muscle mass.

I recently stumbled I guess into these kinds of videos... I never realized I had dysphoria till I sat and thought about it. I mean I kinda knew but I’ve always tried to workout or do different things to make myself feel content with how I looked but never could. Dressed up and embraced the idea of being at least gender fluid but I think I’m in denial about who I really feel I am. I am still closeted to the people around me but I feel a happiness in me that I never actually felt before once I accepted that I’m female.

I don’t usually like to comment cause I end up telling my struggles where I want to be. Progesterone is what I’m shocked so many are not prescribed. Progesterone takes to a tanner 5 within 2 to 3 years and after 3 years you’ve gotten the full affect of the feminine transition transformation. Your breast are that of full D cup our hips gain width and bums expand. Fat distribution really changes dramatically over those 3 years. I can’t wait to go through them all. Especially after testosterone is removed medically initially changes happen very quickly.

I'm a newbie trans who's FtM. I came here mostly out of curiosity, and to educate myself, but now I can't stop thinking about how frustrating being trans is. I'm hourglass shaped, have very full perfectly shaped breasts, my voice literally has not changed whatsoever from childhood and is super soft and high pitched even by female standards- I have everything girls see as desirable and before I knew I was trans, no one understood how I could possibly have such intense body image issues especially since pre-puberty, I didn't give a single damn about how I looked. Now I just look at my perfectly healthy beautiful female body and wish it was given to someone it fit and could keep it exactly the way it is without feeling so horrible all the time. I almost feel bad for ruining it, especially since it's so futile I know I probably won't ever be comfortable in my own skin, because the one thing hormones don't help an 18 years old with is height and I'm stuck being 4'8" my entire life.

This video will help me a lot. Now I will just have to convince my doctors. Also I am swedish too, felt like just adding that. Also I already knew about the voice sense I am a musician and I feel so glad somone else also knows the facts about the voice.

I can talk with my female voice and switch to male voice, this really boosted my self esteem and self confidence

Been on hormones 5 years. Estradiol and progesterone. I like the injections. I no longer take the spiro. Had too many medical problems with it. I do like how hrt helped me grow a more female related hairline. But I started hrt at 32 so my changes weren't as intense.
