Hornby 8f with TRS Trains synchronised smoke. the sound is a home brew on an esu v5, and it's been fitted with express freight lamps, firebox glow, crew, coal and a heavy weathering
all smoke fittings are cold water systems and do not use heat or oil

Love the smoke and steam. The weathering needs work and blending though and the sound file needs to be an actual 8F though.

If this is water vapour, I wonder what it would look like outside on a cold/frosty winters day? Lots of steam?

One way to find out? ;) I don't have an outside line unfortunately, but there's quite a difference in the output when I run one having gotten to the workshop first thing, compared to when it's warmed up. Altho the units don't tend to like ice cold water.

I've no problem with Sam having a play with one of my conversions, how ever Sam's page is so appealing because he buys his models to review, and isn't Sent them like other channels which means he can be non bias.
