Hornby Class K1 Locomotive Review February 2015

An un-boxing and review of Hornby Railways new K1 Class locomotive.
The Cat No. is R 3242. The loco is in BR Lined Black, and carries the BR Early crest. She is numbered 62015 ( Ex March Loco ).

An excellent model, well reviewed. Might I suggest the equipment over the damaged cylinder is a dynamo for the lights. Philip

Excellent review of a superb locomotive, just love the backhead details... something we only dreamed about a few years ago....it is definately worth the money for a very well detailed steam locomotive its a pity some of the prices of diesals is now approaching the same prices especially Bachmann.. cheers

This loco looks so good. Will it run around a 16inch curve like the Hornby Thompson L1 (it looks very similar in wheel arrangement and length). Only difference would be the distance between tender and body.

Have purchased this loco myself,excellent it is too even if expensive, paid £114 from derails models,best price.

Can you fit couplers to the front for shunting?

Hi, yes you can fit couplers to the front. They come in a little bag of extras. This is a nice loco. Enjoy.
