Hornby DC to DCC Conversion Firth of Clyde (Brittania Class)

DC to DCC conversion of Hornby R2104 Firth of Clyde (Brittania Class). a non-DCC ready conversion with Ringfield motor.

Very informative video. I do like these old tooling Hornby Britannia's but I do wish Hornby had done they same as they did with the old Railroad 9F and replace the Ringfileld with a motor in the Locomotive. I have the same as the one featured but mine is R2175 'Firth Of Tay'. The 5-Pole Ringfield does the job well enough but I feel it would be much more of an improvement if the motor was in the Locomotive as is with the Railroad 9F.
