I always love whenever you do these bow update vids, specially on your much older bows. It really showcases the possible longevity of pvc bows when good material is selected and the bow is not abused. Great to have you making regular vids again, Nick. 👍

PVC bows stored properly last a long time. I made the elfin bows years ago and they still pull 38lbs at 28 inches. Love them.

Ok guys I found out how to cover it with cloth. So basically like I the pictures he gave. Take a pvc which is the same width of your bow. Then take the material cut to length and put it around the pvc. Either stitch it together on the pvc or make markings with a pen where you would want to stitch it together. Once you have completed the stitching. Turn the material inside out. The seem will be hidden and a nice neat seem will be seen.

This is exactly what I needed to know--my son is already destroying the paint job on his bow. I'm going to wrap it in cloth or vinyl now. Many thanks for the insight Nick. Excellent, informative video.

Thank you! Honestly I don't do them like this anymore, but it would be cool to see what a bow like this would look like. I like the purity of just using PVC, but wood siyahs make for a faster bow and they look good.

My dear friend, will you do you consider making a bow for a viewer who is willing to pay for your work? I’ve made a view PVC bows before, actually 4 or 5 of your designs even. However, I failed miserably at making any of your reflex/deflex type bows. Regardless, I really would love one of your Horn style horse bows.
