I always love whenever you do these bow update vids, specially on your much older bows. It really showcases the possible longevity of pvc bows when good material is selected and the bow is not abused. Great to have you making regular vids again, Nick. 👍

Ok guys I found out how to cover it with cloth. So basically like I the pictures he gave. Take a pvc which is the same width of your bow. Then take the material cut to length and put it around the pvc. Either stitch it together on the pvc or make markings with a pen where you would want to stitch it together. Once you have completed the stitching. Turn the material inside out. The seem will be hidden and a nice neat seem will be seen.

My dear friend, will you do you consider making a bow for a viewer who is willing to pay for your work? I’ve made a view PVC bows before, actually 4 or 5 of your designs even. However, I failed miserably at making any of your reflex/deflex type bows. Regardless, I really would love one of your Horn style horse bows.

You may have mentioned it in the earlier videos, but what is the supplier you use for furniture grade PVC? I know that the plumbing/electrical stuff from Home Depot is more brittle than I feel comfortable with these days.
@BackyardBowyer4 жыл бұрын
I use Formufit brand PVC pipe. There is another company that has more color options including brown. They don't have a retail side, so I may have to buy a pallet's worth.

He makes all sorts of different styles of primitive tools. If he did the same thing every time it would be boring. That said, I'm sure that if you shout loudly and often enough for another wood/pvc bow he'll at least see it and consider it for a future project.
