Hornets' nest removed from a client's basement. This colony was super sensitive and a hornet stung me through my glove! The worst sting I ever had! My hand blew up like a balloon!

Neither one of us ever gave it a second thought. We joke with each other but this was never a issue. We do not have the stereotypical marriage where the man does something the wife disapproves of and it's by her grace and understanding that she accepts his fallible ways. Our relationship is nothing like that. What you should really applaud her for, if you knew her, is her kindness, her hilarious personality and sense of humor, compassion for others, selfless, and an amazing mother to our boy. Nests in the fridge is nothing to us.

Hey HK, as someone who has been diagnosed with spheksophobia (fear of wasps/hornets), I really appreciate your videos. I used to have it pretty bad, where I couldn't even sit still for videos abour waspe, but watching your stuff has been helping me. I really do like wasps and hornets, such amazing creatures, but my subconcious fear does get in the way of enjoying them outside sometimes. For those who want to know, the phobia developed due to me being stunf when I was younger (around 5 years old) while I was taking a shower, all the pain and concern my parents shown (since my father is allergic to wasp and bee stings), it subconciously cemented in me that wasps should be feared. Most phobias develop from events when you're younger.

Hi! I suffer from the same. I ran through a nest as a kid. Was horrible. Now I suffer all summer when I see one I cant go outside again. It really messes with yard work, and outside tasks. I have never been able to break it.

Several of my cats are master fly hunters, but the real fun is when I bring home crickets for my leopard geckos and set some loose for the cats. In their native environment, before domestication, insects made up a significant portion of cats' diets. Most small cat species will happily chow down on insects.

I really enjoy watching these. Inspired me to do one at my house. Sometime about a week ago, I had a bunch of wasps flying around my back patio in by backyard. I tried to find them and found a hole around some wood near a part of the roof outside. the wood was rotted and very old. I hit it with a broom, and they all flew out in a mad frenzy as I ran back inside with my dog. So, I first sprayed some wasp killer inside the hole after I managed to get some of the wood out, and I counted the following day: 36 wasps were killed on my patio after I sweept them all up (and squished the ones left alive, the cold temperature in the morning really helped). After I ripped of some more rotted wood with a hammer and crowbar, I found a nest almost the size of a volleyball. I put in on the ground outside sprayed the hell out of it with wasp killer and any other bugs and larva around it, put it in a garbage bag and crushed it with a cinderblock and put it in a dumpster. My parents thought I was nuts doing this on my own, but I did it without calling an exterminator and was proud of myself and didn't get stung. afterwards I had to buy some wood, nails, screws and other stuff to plug that whole to not let that happen ever again.

Glad to see you again! Ironically, nematodes killed my cucumber vines, but the brown wasps that nested on the trellis are still going strong - I saw one this morning with a food ball for the larvae. Before your channel, I would have gotten rid of them -but now I know that if I am cool around them, they will be cool with me so I plan to leave them alone until the end of the season - or when I can safely move them so I can treat my garden and can plant my winter crops. Damned nematodes! BTW: Osiris and Cleo remind me of my old tomcat, Beauzeaux. He was my boy - made it to about 20 years. His sister, Hillairee made it to 21. Damned fine cats.
