Horrific DEATH of PAYNE STEWART Almost Took PATRICK SWAYZE's Life!

The cemetery where Payne Stewart is buried looks like a beautiful golf ⛳️ course. I never knew of Patrick Swayze having the same flight problem, thanks for telling the story. My husband and I would like to visit America, but if that can happen on a short flight, it makes me nervous to fly ✈️ around 18 hours. Not to mention all the other things that can go wrong. I wish America and Canada (which I would also love to see) weren’t so far away. ❤️Jodie 🇦🇺

True.Very true. As a young American servicemen, I remember the flight to Germany for my duty station, from CONUS. No one told me not to wear my uniform for possible terrorist attacks. I was lucky, the passengers were all Army Guard and Reservists in civilian clothes, on their way for a European training op.

I am 43 Flying was my biggest fear I had never been on a plane until about 2008 I LOVE flying I've even rode in small planes that hold 4 people it's So fun you're more likely to die in a car crash than a plane crash

@@thatgardeninggirl2864 I’m 54 this year, I’ve been on planes before and have never had a fear of flying. Ive also been on a helicopter when my son was rushed to hospital 25 yrs ago. Thanks to watching u tube stories though and the fact America is around an 18 hour flight, I’m now starting to get nervous. If we get the chance to visit, it won’t stop me though. Jodie.

My husband is a retired air traffic controller and he worked Payne’s plane through the air space. Clearing everything out of it’s way. They talked to the F16 pilots and they were able to see the pilots slumped over. When you looked in the passengers were already dead. It is actually not a bad way to go. You go to sleep, die peaceful and yes you will freeze after death. It was a sad sad thing, just waited all day for the fuel to run out.

I knew about Patrick Swayze had heard about it, and his pancreatic cancer, my husband passed from that pancreatic cancer a few years ago. He was one of my mom's favorite golfers. At an event either later that year or the next year. As a memorial. The golfers lined up hit a shot into the ocean. But Tiger Woods stayed and practiced his putting. My mom never forgave him for that.

I remember that day. Sadly, by the time anyone knew something was wrong, all aboard were gone. Even if they could somehow get the plane on the ground in one piece, it wouldn’t have saved them. Also: Don’t smoke. It can kill you in ways you haven’t thought of.

Great tribute. I remember when this happened. Such a sad accident. The plane would have only had seconds before they were knocked out. It is pretty fast when you run out of oxygen. You don't realise or understand what's happening to you. You can't think. I had a respiratory arrest at 34, once you stop breathing its pretty fast

Glad you enjoyed it. It is very sad.. payne stewart has a 'drive' in his honor on the country club grounds, but I wasn't allowed in to see it. It's sad to know there isn't a statue or anything of him in the town. They do have a great state of Payne at Pinehurts where he won on his last put that previous June in 99 to win the U.S. Open.. I hope to see that someday

I still remember this..he died on Oct 25th, and I went to a halloween party a few days later and some guy was dressed as Payne Stewart (after the crash). It was morbid, for sure, but a well executed costume.

There is an episode of Mayday (in Australia it’s called Air Crash Investigation) about this plane crash. It’s sad the number of lives that have been lost because of decompression. The only solace is that the people on board were already dead by the time the plane crashed - they would have lost consciousness and that was it.

I remember this well. Fortunately Payne and the rest of the occupants did not feel any pain nor probably panicked. They would have quickly slipped into unconsciousness and passed away long before it crashed.
