I LOVE it when Jordan does cute/cartoon then ruined/corrupt. It is just amazing work! I would love to see the others! 😁
@NiaJustNia9 ай бұрын
I'd love to see one of the ruined/damaged ones look like it was given to a dog. Barely anything left of it, and what is left is torn and discoloured, and soaked in mud, like it's been repeatedly buried and dug up. Something being destroyed because it's well loved is a weird concept because we don't normally see love as destructive.

I love it when dogs bring me their favorite toys and it's just a heep of stained fabric 🥰🥰🥰 probably means that the pupper has had it for years and the owner(s) know how much it means to their pup
@NiaJustNia9 ай бұрын
@@RavCat I know, I love it! You're looking at what looks like a fabric cabbage and the owner is like "That used to be a snowman for her first winter, to get her to brave the snow", and you feel your heart melting over a soggy brown fabric cabbage

I had hand-me-down Winnie the Pooh stuffed animals, made in the style of the books. They belonged to my mother first, and then my cousin, and then they were passed to me. Kanga was the most loved of the bunch And her neck was utterly destroyed. The stuffing had been crushed out of it over time, so she looked horrendously strangled and broken - but it's because that was the ideal clutch-point for a small child to drag her about the house. That and her tail. My mother's Raggedy Anne and Andy dolls have tea and jam stains about their mouths (carefully cleaned now as she's been restoring them over time, but still vaguely visible.) Teddies with bald ears/hands are also heartwarming because you know they've gone on many adventures.
@NiaJustNia8 ай бұрын
@@QuantumWaltz Have you seen the person on tumblr who restores people's childhood toys? She even makes them a heart out of their original stuffing, and films the whole thing for the owners framed as a spa day! Maybe one day you can get Kanga a spa day and surprise your mum, that not only is she good as new, but she'll last another 3 generations with ease!

Something I noticed is that you depicted them filled with plush- while in the game they actually have little bits of meat and bone inside of them. I would have loved to see that in your style but it was still really good!
@koala_corner129 ай бұрын
They’ve got the little bits of gore likely because of the dark things playtime co was up to, following the lore, the bigger bodies experiment, (the bosses you face in the game, dogday, catnap, huggy, poppy, mommy long legs, and kissy) are all children that playtime co turned into these huge toys. This might’ve been the same for the small plushies you encounter, though the bits of meat and etc could have been from the hour of joy as well.

The Posca look good but I love all the detail you put in with the Copic pens.
@Beading_Kate9 ай бұрын
I love how they all are done. They are all creepy and unsettling, but at the same time a bit sad and (possibly) cute. Somehow the ruined versions are less creepy, but more sad! They look like real toys that were once loved, played with and then abandoned. This makes a bittersweet sense. The classic cartoony versions are more creepy, because they hit the uncanny valley. They don’t look like realistic toys, but also they don’t look like live creatures… I don’t know. It’s just overall (dis)balance in their features.

I am so game for another one like this, my favorite was dogday, but mostly because he's my favorite in general.
