The word that comes to mind when I think about this game is "sincere". It doesn't make much sense, but that is how I would describe it. Everything feels "sincere" from the humanity of the characters to the realism of the rig and to the concreteness of the crisis at hand and how the characters react to it - no matter how otherworldly it is. The cosmic and the body horror aspect is also well made. It's familiar, but still unique. This is not for me one of those horror games that goes well beyond itself to become something truly great, but what it does it does very well - no more, no less.

Excellent review Mason. This one was really solid and caught me by surprise when I watched a fellow friend play thru it.. one of the better horror games released this year imo.

This game didn't grab me for whatever reason during its first few hours, but hearing you and the other people on the discord praise it so much, and also looking at those creatures in the video really make me want to try it a second time.

The game looks amazing, everyone I know that have tryed it tell me it's amazing, and I REALLY want to play it.... but my PC is not really build for games, so it can't even run it.... One day.... one day....

I only got to play it because it was on Xbox game pass, I wasn’t sure I wanted to give it a go but damn it was good.
