Yeah but I’ve seen where you can often get fake OEM stuff from sites like Amazon that’s looks legit. Plus they usually mark up parts to make more money. VERY informative. There is a product that is some type of rubber that will protect your diffuser splines without ruining the aesthetics or aerodynamics of the diffuser. That diffuser is aggressive enough and the car is low enough to benefit from the aero with additional SUCTION at speed GUARANTEED. It very well could be a significant amount enough to change the spring rate needed for track. You would notice it by a high speed run on track and bottoming out. You need those STRAKES when going to the track to be fully effective. There is a WHOLE lot of AERO going on underneath the car.
@HorsePowerObsessed2 ай бұрын

@@HorsePowerObsessed Yes, it is a 1000 mile window...7000 to 8000. If you have a problem with the DCT, GM could choose to not honor the warranty since you went 200 mile over and that information is in the GM system. The dealer could choose to fix your C8 if GM declined to cover it. But, they would eat the cost of the repair.

Kind of sucks that a car like that is on the same rack, same setting that moments before probably serviced a Chevy Cruze or Spark. I mean, I get it... It's still a Chevy, but somehow, it'd be nice to have a more premium setting, at least giving the illusion your high dollar purchase goes beyond just the vehicle. Maybe I'm being unreal and projecting some of my not so great past GM service dept experiences. Hell, with the prices of new vehicles period, everyone should enjoy a premium service experience lol. Being pretty much a GM purchaser for most of my car buying years, you sometimes feel like cattle at the service dept.

While I don’t disagree, this specific track is only for corvette. Greg only works on corvettes so the only car that bay and that rack sees, are corvettes.
@scottwinders99612 ай бұрын
You could have done this service yourself. It does not have to be done at the dealer. You would just need to keep receipts and document what you did and when you did it. I will do it at the dealer as it will be the first service I have them do and it will be covered by GM. After that though, I plan on doing all the regular services myself. I have a bi-directional scanner tool that does the DCT flush procedure and DCT leak test procedure so I can even do that myself. Thekey is to keep receipts and document it well.
@HorsePowerObsessed2 ай бұрын
If you wanna go and fight that’s true but it’s easier just to have GM have the documentation. If something comes up and I have to prove that was done I’d rather not have to rely on something GM could potentially fight me on

@@HorsePowerObsessed I don't disagree which is why I will have GM do the first service. But, at 22,500 miles (and every 22,500 miles after that) I will be changing the DCT filter myself even though those changes are just as important for the warranty as the 7,500 mile change.
