I just ordered mine and was on the fence for a while but went with the z06. Z07 price bump doesn’t justify as I’m not a huge track guy and I don’t like the look of the carbon aero and wing.

Just took delivery of 2024 C8 ZO6 with ZO7 in Carbon Flash ext and black int with red stitches and stealth. Spider black shiny wheels and black tips and red calipers. Bad ass! I love it. It currently has 56 miles!

Great video! My car is pretty much in the middle of these 2 cars, ceramics, carbon wheels, non zo7 but I have the carbon splitter off the zo7 and the carbon side skirts off the zo7 and carbon exposed roof.

Hey justin another great video..i wanted your opinion on this issue...2 dealers in my area got 1 allocation each, both dealerships got 70th anniversary z07 cars( fully loaded) and both dealership owners kept the car for themselves...does gm have a policy on this, as there are so many ppl on waiting lists for these cars, this doesn't seem right to me....what do u think??

Can't put the ZO7 Spoiler on a regular ZO6. There are 2 extra holes on the rear bumper of the regular ZO6.

Z07 package car IS A DIFFERENT CAR, and it is the ONLY track dedicated car in the entire series according to car and driver.

Yes and no. You can add on the aero kit aftermarket, but the 10% stiffer suspension of the z07 really can’t be added.

I’m surprised the only differences between a regular Z07 and one with the Z07 package is the 10% stiffer suspension, because it looks like the Bremen ceramic brakes are included in the Z07 package while the “normal “ Z06 doesn’t include them, it’s an extra cost option. My question would be, is the Performance Information Software have different parameters based on the car having Cup 2R tires or the standard tires, also if you opt to have carbon fiber wheels, does that impact the software? Is the 10% stiffer suspension in the software side or is it based on different springs and sway bars? The shocks I believe are controlled by the Performance software, so thinking the actual shocks are the same. Is there any differences in bushings used between the Z06 and the Z07 package, maybe hemispherical knuckles vs rubber or polyurethane? Personally I like the more stealth base look better, the wing is like a magnet for the police, as if a Vette isn’t also.

Different Springs and programming both. If you opt for carbon wheels the steering is also recalibrated. I’ve owned both and imo there is a noticeable difference…

But you have to pity the guys that spent $120k + on the C8 a year ago and now they are on the auction sites at or below sticker. It is a slippery slope. Sad part is I have had a deposit on the Z06 for over 2 years now and have all but lost interest. Guess I will have to sell my C8 Zo6 plates.

Maybe its just the paint, but I really liked the Z06 model in this comparison setup. Not a huge fan of having a "whale tail" sticking so far off my trunk lid. Might just be that there are so many miscreants in my area that I KNOW its too inviting for them to ignore trying to mess with it in a parking lot.

the Blue one could have had the front splitter and the back can have the more aggressive rear splitter- not the giant ugly wing like on the Z07 pack. to me the Z06 is not as bad ass but actually prettier. My Z06 which will be delivered in about 2 weeks at Les Stanford it a 3LZ HTC with body colored accents which make is much more euro looking, if you look there are no super cars or hyper cars that have the black accents. Just look at the 488 Pista or any lamb not to mention, Porche, or Pagini . also the Z06 with we have a more friendly ride but can handle anything a road can offer, If you look at the new Gray it is shown with body color accents. I thought about getting this option on my 21 C8 but got talked out of then saw a regular Torch red in Det realized I was right all along that the body colored accents look the best and most Ferrari like. It just look more classy and you get the 4s tires which according to Eddie X is the only way to go unless you are going to track it hard. Eddie decsrivbed being caught in the rain with the Cup 2 Rs and he had an awful time had to creep to keep it under control now given that Eddie seems unable to pull his toes out of the carbuatgor maybe that was his problem. Anyway I get mine in two weeks can't wait. I'd love to put a pic of it on here but don't know how., if anybody does know let me know and I'll upload a review compared to my C8 HTC Z51 with Mag ride and front lift. Oh if anybody is interested go on auto trader or just PM me on Facebook Mike Dull , I'll give you more than a fair price it only has 2968 mi. and has never seen rain or any bad weather. it's like brand new.

I wanted to give you an update about Sigala Designs because I know you reached out to them with no response. I reached out to Alex in regards to the holes that are left when you take off the low profile spoiler to exchange it for the Z07 spoiler. I did receive a reply. I'm not sure why they are not reaching back out to you. But what ever the reason is, you know for sure they got your communication. As of right now, the aero kit in general is on constraint so no splitter option available from factory.

You can make the regular z06 look twin to the z07 with the areo package and track tires only the suspension will be a tenth of that's it oh forgot the big brakes but you can order everything but obviously the suspension that's what I'm having to do
