May 27th 2012. A jumping chute was set up and the horse is encouraged to go through it. Here's Max checking it out. This was filmed using two cameras, so most jumps you see twice; once from the side and once head on.
Technical Video Details: Panned side shots using Panasonic HDC-TM90. Static head on video using Canon S95Free Jumping Max

In all your 'Loose Jumping' videos it shows what wonderful horses you have and how honest and hard they try to do everything right even though their owners are useless

Your spacing/strides where out which probably explains why he was all over the place for a fair majority of the video, gorgeous horse though

Chlöe Hood All their horses knock them down because of the striding.

they should have taking one of the first trotting poles away. if he kept tripping uo, that could have been a danger to him.

HaHa!!! Your horse doesn't look to concerned on jumping the jumps. He just looks like " AHHHHH!!!!!! these people are chasing me with a whip!!!! So cute, and when you get him going he gets better at jumping.

There are too many distractions for him, you've got a dog barking and lots of people clicking at him from different angles not to mention someone chasing him with a whip to make him canter. He's finding it hard to jump because of the striding, he doesn't seem entirely comfortable around the jumps yet and there's so many noises etc to distract him.

Gorgeous looking horse, but it doesn't make him look so gorgeous when he is tripping over some of the jumps in the middle. If the striding was better, he wouldn't have struggled so much at the start. (I'm only saying this after watching 2 minutes of the video)

Please learn how to properly space cantering poles. He becomes so unbalanced because of the spacing. You always want to give your horse the best set up for the jump. He's just a mumbled mess going thru the chute.

1:51 his body language is telling you that he can't jump that and it's scaring him. You need to correct your striding between the poles/jumps. And at the end his ears are back when you make him jump it.

When you whipped him a bit before the minute mark was unnecessary, he was just checking out the poles.

the reason why he keeps tripping over the x is because they are making him canter over the poles that weren't spaced out for cantering so he is getting a weird step

Opening up the side would mean that he gets what he wants which is to be lazy and gets a free pass out of work! Horses aren't plush toys and doing that is called making bad habits called being lazy will get me what I want, these people know what they are doing +equestrian odie

'Seems'. It isn't cruel at all, idiot. It is to (Or I did it) to train your horse to be comfortable to jump and/or help your horse jump more cleanly. It is very fun for you and your horse. (My horse seemed to enjoy it very much!)
@ellaw7384

That striding is so wrong. You are making your horse unbalanced. Someone needs to learn that the same striding does not work for every horse. The reason he refused was because he was unbalanced and couldn’t take the jump.😒

No, THEY need to recognize a lame horse! He was literally stepping on the bars and his head was constantly hanging low. They shouldn't be allowed to even own horses. Thus is practically torture.
@Zebra-dogs
@Zebra-dogs 8 жыл бұрын
You clearly haven't seen professional jumpers before they're refined by a trainer. This is what they do. Unfortunately this guy doesn't want to jump, there's no will to jump and that is what needs to be investigated. He's not lame in any way, he just doesn't want to jump which is very not-horse like.
@Zebra-dogs
@Zebra-dogs 8 жыл бұрын
It's also because they have spaced the poles wrong. These are trotting poles they're trying to make him canter over.
