Be careful not to get too close to prop on a boat with an I/O drive. V-Drive or Direct Drive with prop underneath the boat is much safer

with a hydrofoil, you can ride far from the boat. It's safer.

Josh Newman: I’d love to know why you think different drives are more dangerous. Shaft drive the prop is under the hull and with a stern drive or an outboard the prop is about a foot beyond the stern. If you’re close enough to head butt it when you fall then that’s too close. But that’s a Darwin Award winner who does that... You’re unlikely to get the manoeuvrability with a shaft drive vessel that you do with a stern drive and rarely do you see that drive ever used for towing. But, as these foils take off at about 6 - 8 knots then a chunky displacement tender chugging at 8 knots would provide all the wake you need.

@@HorueMovie Flite 120 de chez Liquid Force, j'arrive à tenir sans corde mais uniquement très proche du bateau (0 à 3 mètres), j'ai l'impression que la vague n'est pas assez "creusée" plus long parfois. Mais ça doit venir du bateau (Correct Craft 1990) ou de la technique :) J'espère passer à Serre-ponçon un jour !
