For some reason I wasn’t expecting Horus, and I have no clue why. It’s definitely one of the more unique depictions of him I’ve seen painted on a bust. The glowing eyes were a nice touch, and the chaos glow was really cool too. Great work

Hey thanks so much Connor. I was really nervous with painting him. Figured there was no point me trying to paint him the same as everyone else especially when the others look so much better 🤣 so I may as well go for a different look 😀

@@flashingbadgerpainting most people tend to paint the green darker, but it ends up just looking like black with all the other colors overshadowing it by comparison. Your version allowed the green to show through really well 👍

I’m blown away you got such good quality from contrast paints , I’ve never been able to do it 🤷‍♂️ I only use normal paints an air paints. Occasionally will use contrast in my air brush but I cannot brush it on always looks so streaky

Hey thanks so much. Mixing them with the contrast medium and thinner can create some great washes and glazes. I’m working on a video at the moment where I cover a camouflage scheme with a contrast mix and think it looks really cool. So for sure I think you can experiment a little and see how you go 👍

i just bought my first warhammer mini and it is fun but tries my patience. i have to take tons of breaks as it all seems very overwhelming at times.

Keep at it and take comfort in the fact that I paint slowly and take plenty of breaks as well. My advice with it feeling daunting (which is natural) is to take it one technique at a time. And what I mean by that is don’t feel pressure to try and nail everything on the first model. Over time I slowly introduce new techniques but will be happy just getting the basics down for a while.
