The first thing I thought of was the ice guide. That damn thing gave me several issues in the past. I see a lot of them up and it drains the water into the bin causing premature harvest and thin ice. Good catch

Hi David, we have the same ice machine but it’s pretty old. We have a problem, the coil is covered with ice, I have left the machine off for one day, and then the machine looks good, but the buzzer continuously beeping. Now no other function working. Looking for guidance. Thank you

Besides the freeze time sucking I’d put my money on any hoshizaki over any other brand any day of the week. They seem to be built pretty well. Warranty is not a problem and it just works. Now cleaning it after a customer ran it for two years.. different problem..

what reason system Hot ? no freezing mode after harvest / Hot , unit shut down

Can you please explain more why would that cause the unit to just run water continuously. Ive seen it causing a premature harvest but not just ran water continuously thanks

The ice guide moving out of position seems to be a common problem. I called factory and spoke to a tech that gave me a part number for something that may keep the Damned thing from moving. I've ordered one ,its only 30 bucks. I want to see what it will do.
@MRICE-qe4sv4 жыл бұрын
So what’s the part number. You can’t short change us like that. And what is it because this isn’t a new problem.
@NorCal-refrigeration4 жыл бұрын
I’m interested Greg please follow up.

@@NorCal-refrigeration I cannot endorse this part , it is still on order ,and it's holding up my other item because I wanted the order shipped complete. The machine is making ice but with an old float switch. The part number I was given is HOSSP-5349. Anyone know of it?
@NorCal-refrigeration4 жыл бұрын
Greg M never herd of it. But I’m interested to see how it works out. Thanks for the info. 👍👍

Thanks for the knowledge and yes chemtrails are real they also use similar techniques for cloud seeding and weather manipulation. Take care!

Good video Dave . You think we could still use the old style water inlet valves ?, or is the threaded body different? I think that ice cube guide moved out of place during shipping.

I've sold and installed 6 Hoshizaki machines in the last 2 years. I've had a call back on all 6 of them within 2 months of install, most with that issue of the ice hanging up. My dealer tells me that the first 2 dip switches can be flipped to increase the length of harvest. That has taken care of the issue most of the time without finding another fault. I figure if those dip switches are supposed to be flipped, they would do it from the manufacturer. Last one I did, they didn't wire the condenser fan from the factory. I'm not a big fan of the hoshizaki. Just bad luck I guess. Good eye on the cube guide!

@reynanmegx234 жыл бұрын
i have the same problems with the new KM Hoshis, they set the harvest at 3 min, in a perfect world it is enough to drop all the ice, but once you have colder water than normal in the winter and the surrounding area is also colder, not all the ice drops. I had one tech support tell me turning 1 and 2 on dip switches on is just a band aid, I told him, well if you put a band aid on a wound, eventually it will heal.

actually there very well could be some nasty stuff in them. considering jet engines burn tons of fuel, mixed with high volumes of air which is bound to have unknown contaminates in it, which of course also gets burnt in the process! perhaps there should be exhaust sampling done on every engine of every flight :)
