So I was wanting a very strong fun little car, so I bought a 1/16 revo, axle snapped within 39 seconds on flat low grass?! (EDIT info BELOW for danman) My issue with a wheelie monster is that I could care less about wheelies, I would prefer to put that power on the ground for much improved acceleration , but I guess most people get a thrill out of just wheelying around, so that's what the manufacturers build.. --------------------------------------- HD danman, I'm barred from 'replies' but can edit, so: Unfortunately a gear change won't be a good option, taller or shorter gears depending on which gears are being changed will just make it wheelie more or ruin the low end torque. The best option I can think of is shifting weight forward, though I'm guessing (since I don't have this car,) that will not be an easy option.

The only vehicles I have done FPV with so far has been my crawler (1/10 and slow) and a Losi Mini-B buggy (small scale, but driven on a smooth surface). Those were both fun. My only concern with doing FPV on this truck is how bouncy it will be - especially at speed. If you are driving on asphalt, it would be fine.

I have jad mine for about a month now. Im a total noobie and have only had what I would call kid stuff. Nothing over $60 and pretty much from Sally world. Just for my kids. At least that has been my excuse. " mom how come daddy is always making sure those car thingies are okay? He never checks out the other toys. He's strange" Lol. The last one was also from Wal-Mart the burn out buggy. I was hooked and decided my kids needed a real rc so I researched and was overwhelmed. Wtf? 12 bazillion. I chose the hosim that you so wonderful checked out in this video. I am a boogie but I must say this thing should NOT still be working! It has showed me a shit ton of grace. Im talking full speed into a curb (stupid noooobie) lol. Where I actually thought, crap,there goes a $100 bucks. Pull the trigger and it wheelies off like a little angry demon. I cant think of the # of times ive though Yup, thats the end of that thing. WTF? okay now I'm dead set on breaking it, not like run it over or set it on fire. Just how far will it go under expected breaking circumstances? Maybe its becauae I dont really know any better but I hope the nezr one is this ruff. Full speed coming out of the local skate parks 6' wall with about 2 or 3 ' of of vert. I will so a video and share. I held my breath at 10' 12' oh crap at who knows how high and peaking in an arch from the launch compression. Should have been all over the cement park! Upside down and harder than I could ever throw it. Bam. Bounce.flip. right side up. Disbelief . trigger and off it went. Then id launch it out of the pool and it would get about 6 to 8' high, clear the skate park and land about 20 feet or more off into the bark. Landings arent right but Im learning. All that to say. Its tougher than I thought it would be. I have alor to learn so I am a followers now. Thanks.

Great! Yes - I have been very happy with the durability. My guess it is due to the super-low weight. But honestly, some of it is design also. I have owned the LaTrax products...and they are junk compared to this. I also just took this truck to a skate park - video coming soon!

G'day mate. Great video. I had to order a set of wheels for my 1/12 9156 and they had an offer where you could get one of these with the wheels so I am going to get one. As soon as I saw it had a brushless in it I thought I have to have one. My friend has spent over $500 AU on his monster truck to get it to compete with my Hosim 9156 ($185 AU). He just but a brushless in his so I think he has finally beat my Hosim 9156 but he is going to be pissed when he sees me with this Hosim 2845 and I still come in just over $500 AU and I've got two monster trucks and one that leaves his for dead Again. lol, It's like sibling rivalry.

Why punish us with midroll adds, I never let any of them run if I can catch them, I doubt anyone else does either, put two adds up front and two at the end, I will let them run, and I encourage others to do the same. Most of us multi task, a midroll add can run from 3 or 4 mins to an hour plus, usually louder than the video itself, with subject matter we usually don't care about, when they come on we have to stop, run to the pc ,and shut it down. Midroll adds drive viewers to add free subscriptions and add free browsers, which diverts / eliminates the revenue stream away from content providers / channel owners.
@RoadsideRC3 жыл бұрын
Interesting points! Honestly, I don't ever mess with the ad placement. That is an automatic thing from KZbin. I'll look though, as I do think I can go in and manually modify...for each video...1 by 1.... I do appreciate your feedback. Honestly, I believe I do similar where a mid-roll ad will tend to push me away. Thanks!
@bikersoncall3 жыл бұрын
@@RoadsideRC Thanks man, I get some flak from some Content providers, they panic... But when they take the time to digest the msg, they usually get it as do you. I just got a comment from Simulation Channel Deluxe, it got it and right away deleted all his midrolls. No one lets those disruptive midroll adds run if they can get to the laptop or device soon enough to kill them, they can literally run for over an hour, problematic for some of us.. lol
