I am so sorry for you Dale. It is awful to go through that. I had a root canal and it has been challanging from day one. The root canal turned out good, but I had an allergic reaction to something that started exactly then. They have not figured it out. So dental procedures are not necessarily a slam dunk. Be well and stay well my friend.

Good call with keeping it from Mom. My Dad would worry so much that we had to keep stuff from him. He was absolutely out of control with worry, wasn’t like him. He went crazy when it rained out and would nag my Mom to call us all to make sure we were safe. You’re protecting her Dale.

Wow so glad the infection was caught before it got much worse. My cousin had an infection like that and it burst open into his mouth. They had to cut his neck like they did yours to get the infection out. Prayers you feel better soon and can go home to be more comfortable.

GM Dale. Ty for the health update. Good you drove in there Thurs pm. You are in good hands. Your oral health is very important so it doesnt get worse. Get rest & the strong antibiotics will clear it up. Rinse out with salt water or mild mouthwash a few times daily... Good stewie cat is being cared for. Yes, great idea to keep all this situation from your sweet Mom. She worries enough & just went thru her own health issues. Good you got back patches for your pain too. Take care now. You are in my prayers for a complete revovery.. stay extra Frosty... 😊

Tooth pain and issues are a son of a B. I had my teeth pulled at the age of 34. Best thing that ever happened for me. Been wearing dentures since then and thats been about 30 years

I'm so glad you went to the ER. My father's friend lost his life over an infected tooth. Dental stuff can be really serious. Best wishes and prayers for you and your Mom.

Dale, so glad you’re being taken care of, I have heard all of my life that this can happen with bad teeth, I kept having to get teeth pulled and not because I didn’t go to the dentist, so 10 years ago I went to talk to the dentists about implants OMG, would have cost about $50,000! I could have gone in debt for it but I said H no! So I went to Affordable Dentures and had all my teeth extracted! Dentures are something that are very hard to get used to but I rather have them than no teeth at all😱 blessings to you and everything will get better 🙏
