I honestly wouldn't be against them making kanej more physically intimate in the show especially considering the fact that in the books most of their relationship was established through internal dialogue which can't really be done the same way in a visual medium. but it'd have to be either super slow burn or done with the purposes of explaining Kaz's backstory and showing him trying to navigate through his trauma.
