Honestly I’m thinking Zooble just opted not to go on this adventure. They were annoyed about being roped into the GLOINKS adventure so maybe in this episode they put their foot down and Caine obliges, letting them stay in the tent.

One little note: It's not a cliff the truck is falling over. The Fudge Monster appears to be the ENTIRE area of fudge and is actually lifting up the truck in a single and and tipping it into his gaping maw. This would be why it's such a "slow" fall. If the truck is subsequently swallowed by the Fudge monster and Jax is the only one who falls off of it an escapes, it likely means that he's "sad" because he has to go to Gummygoo and his cronies for help to get everyone back. This of course would likely be to get the Key back and not the actual people currently imprisoned in Fudge Monster's fudgy stomach.

So the fudge monster is kind of like the Mr. Greedy ( I think that was his name? ) fudge monster from the Raggedy Ann and Andy movie? First Ragatha’s design and character, then Jax’s voice, now this! Gooseworx must really like Raggedy Ann and Andy, but I’m not complaining. Raggedy Ann and Andy are great.

It may just be a coincidence but the whole thing about non-important characters being mannequins strongly reminds me of the series ENA, which also explores a strange digital setting. I don’t think the two worlds are connected but if they were that would be SO cool!

It's about humans trapped in a sort of like virtual computer game where they're forced to play along with Ringleader Caine- the tooth guy- or else lose their minds, becoming pulsing Eldritch horrors, and not be able to participate in the fun. So all of the main cast- Pomni, Jax, Ragatha, Gangle, Kinger, Zooble- they're humans and everyone else is a defect AI.

Completely unfounded theory: the fudge monster is some Candylander who has abstracted (prior to the episode). Slightly more founded theory: the princess abstracts, causing Pomni's reaction.

Apparently this is supposed to be jax’s episode Oh and also there is one episode per character and zooble is confirmed to be the main character of episode 3 and i think jax is episode 2 and i have a theory that it goes by age so nobody is gonnna abstract anytime soon. The abstraction of kaufmo was only because the circus was crowded Gangle isn’t abstracting for at LEAST 5 episodes so yea other than that i think this is a pretty good theory

Fun fact: Jax has a candy shotgun in the teaser, meaning that he either ends up giving it to Kinger, Kinger takes it from Jax, or Jax misplaces the shotgun and Kinger finds it and pockets it. I feel one possible reason for zooble missing could be a few things: Perhaps they were captured or eaten by the fudge monster and the reason the gang are trying to search for it is to get them back. Another reason could be that zoobles parts got scattered or something similar to the pilot or ep 1 Or Mostlikely And sadly: They don abstracted 💀

Zooble might not be in the episode because they generally refuse to participate in adventures (unless they are dragged into it like it happened in the pilot). Also the point of the adventure might be retrieving maple syrup for Caine.

Do you think Jax was responsible for them falling towards the Fudge Monster? After what you analyzed, you can see him leaning on the front of the truck and then later on, you see him trying to hold onto the same part of the truck to prevent himself from being eaten. Maybe the “sad scene” you see later is because… A. He feels guilty for almost causing everyone to die B. He was saved by someone and is upset from looking vulnerable (ex: You can see Ragatha trying to negotiate with the monster) C. They were willing not to save him and he felt like nothing (look at Gooseworx’s “I’m nothing” post about episode 2 to learn more).

I think Zooble probably didn't want to go, considering their annoyed expression in the trailer and the fact that Caine acknowledges how much they hate participating in adventures in the pilot. That's not to say that Zooble likely won't be in any adventures, but this one probably fit their character better to not go along with the rest of the gang

Looking closely, at the shot from inside Fudge Monsters mouth, it appears that instead of slipping off a cliff, the truck is being picked up out of the fudge and being held be an arm FM has manifested out of himself , much like The Greedy, so he can eat the truck. Also, the blue balls guy is canonically named Orbsmann, as confirmed in a tweet by voice actor Bembo Davis, which also announces them as his VA. I think Goose retweeted that tweet a while back.

Alrighty, so as a hobbyist animator, this show actually looks great. The characters look adorable and I love the one gummy gator’s constant posing. I think you were noticing that they were using a combination of higher frame rates with other techniques like elasticity (although it’s hard to tell since I didn’t watch the first episode). I can tell you really have an eye for art, animation and story complexity with everything you caught and talked about. :D What software are you using? I use Camtasia and the zooming and rewinding techniques felt really similar to that.

@@notrealnamenotatall2476 also, considering goosworx has stated that her favorite zooble design is in episode 4 and that episode 3 is zoobles episode, i doubt zooble will abtract off screen in episode 2. also if 1 character will abstract every episode that means there will be 2 new characters that have to be introcucd to get to the 8 episode mark (though i've also seen that there might be 9 episodes, so that would amount to 3 new characters), and considering kaufmo was gonna be part of the main cast, but was sarificed due to there being too many characters, i doubt there will more then 1 new character. also episode 2 would likley be too early to have someone abstract. what im trying to say is that the '1 character abstracts each episode' theory is unlikely to be true.
