Comes from an era where pop songs and pop music was actually really cool and each one sounded different and unique. Today you'all got accountant's music same thing day in day out Erroll Brown RIP 🙏 that guy had the ladies I the palm of his hand but in reality he was a true Brit family man and sadly passed away in 2015 from Liver cancer. Real nice guy. Listen to "It started with a kiss" or "Sexy Thing" "So you win again" and "Emma" all killer pop songs with a soulful edge. He is a multi award winning artist who didn't really get enough Kudos for a brilliant voice and song writing skills.

Errol Brown the singer was a style icon before it was invented. Loved watching Hot Chocolate on Top of the Pops as a young girl in the 70s. "Brother Louise" or "Emma" by Hot Chocolate would be great, often overlooked. Thanks, Jamel!

Hot Chocolate was an amazing group. This tune is timeless, it bridged the gap between Disco, Soul, Funk,, Rock and Pop like no one else. And that riff is still amazing. Then add the brass, the backup singers, and the hard hitting bass and you have a masterpiece. Easily one of the best songs of all time.

Errol and the guys were fantastic! I remember my mum seeing him in a pub in Highgate, London around 1978 and going crazy for him, I was about 10 years old! I LOVE the reaction on your face! This is exactly what this song did for me back in the late 70's. I was just 11, and I went out and purchased the single with my hard-earned pocket money and played the record to death. Here in Britain it was really hard to get to see and hear American-sounding pop/soul/R&B records on British TV/Radio. There was Diana Ross and Donna Summer but that was essentially it. 'Every 1's a winner' made Errol Brown a British soul superstar. Well deserved Errol!

You might want to check out a band called: "Cake' doing a song called 'Short Skirt Long Jacket'! The video is basically the 1st reaction video ever made before KZbin was a thing!

Let's not forget also that in the early 70s there weren't many multicultural bands with both black and white members around. They crossed boundaries and sold records in different markets because of this. Also because their tunes were killer too obviously!
