You make it look simple, but detailed. I like how you present multiple options (what kind of chocolate to use, etc.). Thanks for your thoroughness! I can't wait to try making these tomorrow.

Thank you for introducing the spoon technique! I ended up being more successful with it than a brush. Also like the silicone molds since they can go in dishwasher. Still working on my sealing technique.

You’re welcome! The spoon worked better for me too! I’m glad it’s working for you ☺️ The sealing is definitely the hardest part!

I tried to make them today and had a great time but I had the issue that literally every time I touched them, they started to melt and, consequently, fingerprints remained. Any tips for that? What would you suggest?
@LauraLeggeАй бұрын
@@paulaasaldivar what kind of chocolate were you using? With real chocolate, you’ll have to temper the chocolate to keep that from happening and you’ve gotta work fast! I try to make sure my hands aren’t super warm when I need to handle the chocolate. You can wear gloves and that’ll keep them from getting melty as quick.

Questions: 1) I noticed in the supplies list you mentioned Almond Bark. But I don’t recall you using this ingredient in this video. Did I just missed this step? 2) Is the hot chocolate, for example, like Swiss Mix?
@LauraLegge2 жыл бұрын
I personally don’t use almond bark but some people use it instead of chocolate because it’s cheaper. I just don’t care for the flavor so I stick with the Ghirardelli wafers. The hot cocoa mix I use is no longer being sold so I’ll be making my own mix now. I don’t have a recipe for it yet but I’ll update when I do 😊 I would just recommend getting any hot cocoa mix that you enjoy drinking!

@LauraLeggeАй бұрын
@@vickijensen404 I make it from scratch now! How much do you sell each bomb?
@LauraLegge Жыл бұрын
I don’t sell them currently but people in my area were selling these small ones for about $2-$3 each. The bigger ones were around $5-$8 depending on the designs.

It’s okay to use liquid food color, but it has to be oil-based

Right! I must have forgotten to say that 😅 Yes, if it’s the wrong kind of food coloring, the chocolate will seize or break
