If you use plastic eggs or small container you can use it upside down. Comes off easier.

Those aren't really flexible though, and you need to flexibility to pop out the chocolate without breaking it.

Please do not do this, they are not food safe, you will get chemicals in the chocolate, honestly the kinder egg plastic is also something I wouldn't try.

@@Bamoraga The kinder egg plastic already holds chocolate candy directly in it so how would it be unsafe to use? Some people suggest melting the chocolate separately then pouring it in.

I agree! Melting in a separate bowl and then pouring it into the mold is easier, and I’d imagine less risk for toxic plastic stuff. Then just pop it in the freezer! And start putting it together.

Try adding more layers, by doing this add 1 layer of chocolate to the mold and then freeze, and then add another and another layer if necessary!

@@amjohnson70 It's a different mold, I definitely tried that one for the instant pot also and it was a FAIL! I think the molds for the cocoa bombs are super flimsy so they won't crack the chocolate when you try to take them out.

In Europe you can get both kinds of kindereggs, the ones with toys and the ones shown here. The first is for children aged 3 and older and there are no broblems.

I used a Pokémon ball toy from my kid... I just lined it with plastic wrap. Worked very well and was just the right size.

Do you just lift it out by the edges of the plastic wrap? Just asking because that sounds even easier than unmolding from the kinder egg. And I like easier... 😊

@@karenfinfrock1258 lol yes. I didnt have much trouble at all. I did spray the inside of the ball with a little bit of non stick spray just in case. I think that's what helped it come out. It does leave a little texture from thr plastic wrap if its not smooth but it gave it a really cool texture when I used edible gold dust. So pretty. I've even used to LOL doll balls too. Just not the jumbo ones.
