Congrats, You just introduced yourself to Finnish culture! You should also order finnish snow and ice. We have plenty. We take sauna and when there is too hot, we jump in snow. And then repeat. And usually we are drunk at the time.

Whole lot of Swedish city names among the models. Used to have sauna Tuesdays some years ago (were I mounted a shower head to spray the heater for an hour before use). That bad boy got hot as hell. Could used one of those hats, but since that's a Finnish thing we would probably gotten beat up since we lived in Northern Sweden.

"Subscribe for more life hacks" - will do bro. As soon as I get a house with a pool and have the space to prop a Barrel Sauna in my Yard. Oh yeah and having the money for either. Oh and not having to work 8-12 hours a day. Oh and when I dont have a family to look after and a house to clean/run. But yeah as soon as I figure all that out, I'm subbing for some life hacks for rich people 😂

I think some people have a naturally lower body temp and therefore deal with cold wayyyy better than heat. My resting temp is usually 35 to 36.5°c, and it will even sometimes drop ro 34°c. I can go around in cold weather just fine in tshirts and jeans but you best believe the downside is that I can't tolerate heat like,,, at ALL, and become super sweating. I can't win haha

What is best for different situations as in recovery compared to changes in hormones and such? a long sauna, which youd have to go for lower degrees, or a hot quick one? Ive heard that its good for regulation blood sugar levels but unsure if thats just a myth. The trick to a good sauna in my experience is good ventilation and cycling between hot and cold. Also, wood fueled aggregates gives of a nicer warmth if you have the option to go for that. That sauna Uppsala is ironically named after a city in the southern parts of Sweden. Get a sauna and name it Kiruna or Jukkasjärvi, and its probably going to transform into a spawn of satan.

Live in the north east and tap water comes out ice cold in the winter. Is it the shock to the system or does the body really recognize a few degrees difference. Wonder if there is any benefit from say 32 degrees vs 35 or even 40. It’s not like you are bringing your core temp down to these extremes.
