I've been trying to do more of this 90's Kawaii design work. I've got a couple and one of them has made some sales but I just couldn't get my head around a good way to make them stand out. Your breaking out the layers will simplified what I was trying to do in my head and it really helped. I appreciate it very much!!!!

If you created it in Affinity Designer you should be able to color it in Affinity Designer no problem.... if you brought it into Affinity Designer as a PNG or JPG then you will have a problem

I've posted 2 "trends" about 2 weeks before you mentioned them in videos,.... and nothing. I think my descriptions must stink. I want to just list keywords upon keywords, at this point, in the bullet lists but that looks so tacky.

Some trends are tough... they are guaranteed to make you sales but it's better than trying to guess what people are looking for.

Yes you can get sales without ads... if you are designing for the audiences on RedBubble they should find you..... look for popular topics and create original ideas and designs that those audiences want to buy.

Awesome! Juna can you tell me if it's possible to have vertical text in affinity designer? I can't figure it out, other than doing a letter at a time on top of the other. I know I can rotate "left to right" text but I was hoping for top to bottom text, if that makes sense. So the word goes downwards but the letters are in their normal orientation. Thanks

Yeah... the type a letter and hit return and type the next letter is what I would do.... I don't think there is another way to do vertical text... but honestly I haven't looked into it.

Are you talking about RedBubble or Merch by Amazon... it is really hard to make it on the first page for either... It's mostly about getting the sale... so make sure your design is something people want to buy and wear if it's a shirt or if it's a sticker

You don't use gradients you use halftones to simulate the gradient effect that's the secret
