Since I was recommended your videos I have begun to go back and watch all of them. They are very informative, and I have been putting your grazing style to practice with fantastic results. This is the first year out of the last 4 years of regerative grazing. Previous 3 years were daily strip grazing at much lower stocking rates. This year, since the introduction of the UHG strip grazing, I can consistently find dung beetles and a lot of them.

Im enjoying learning your techniques. Im assuming you have 3 groups of animals? Cow/calf doing non-selective grazing, finishing animals doing selective grazing, and then bulls in a separate area?

Yes that’s correct.

It seems like the animals with the mashona influence are in much better condition. I cant remember if you've covered it but do you have any bulls?
@runningtfarmsnc2 ай бұрын
We have some half blood bulls we will be using to clean up with after AI. We have used AI to introduce the Mashona genetics.

@@runningtfarmsnc by clean up you mean take care of any open cows? How do the half mashona bulls look and what's the other half?
@runningtfarmsnc2 ай бұрын
@@danielphillips1094 Yes the clean up bulls are used to breed the cows that don’t settle AI. I’ll try to do some video of the half blood bulls soon.
