Always measure the finger holes with the customer's palm facing up. Every time. That way you can see exactly where the finger bends. If you have the customer palm down, you are always guessing what size hole to drill, and you usually guess wrong.

Question? Does the pro shop always have to measure your hand when drilling your ball because the pro shop near me didn’t measure my hand. He just drilled holes and then measured the insert. I’m also a no thumb bowler

@@Shheeeeshhhhh Since you don’t use your thumb your pro didn’t need to take all the steps necessary to drill a three-hole grip. Most inserts, except very small ones for kids, take a standard 31/32 inch pilot hole, so it sounds like he took care of you properly.

Not a fan of the Bill Taylor fitting wheel. It always measures the middle finger too long. Prefer the Innovative fitting ball much more.
