Hot Rod Power Tour Thrash I Blower, Body Lift, Broken Parts

The Square Body Service Truck didn't make it to Sick Week 2023, so I waited until the last second to get it ready for Power Tour 2023.
I dropped the truck 2 inches in the front with Western Chassis drop spindles, and slapped on a set of Detroit Steel 20" D-Town Smoothies.
I installed fresh 3.21 Yukon Gears in place of the factory 3.73s, and a Yukon Grizzly Locker, as if it had the power to turn over the tires. A Mishimoto Radiator and Dual Electric Fan system ensured we had no heat control issues.
Then hit the road for Hot Rod Power Tour 2023.

"A lot of work to fit a blower under the hood without cutting it." Still, if, say, you have that exact same problem with a 78-87 G-body you don't even have the option of a body lift. Ask me how I know! Very inventive fix in a truck application, sir.

Yeah, the body lift worked out well. It’ll come in handy when I squeeze a 12 valve in it in a few months 😎

A lot of extra work & money not needed. Raise the body - good. Raise the rear - spacers between springs & rear axel housing. Should replace rear springs (saging because of heavy use over the years). Just wanted to say, your funny & also good. Your really helping the DIY people out there. Thanks!!

Put a rope "nylon preferably" around the windshield slightly lubed with Vaseline. Press with slight pressure. Then pull rope out around the windshield. It works much better than that tool.

Does that method work on this style windshield seal. This is the locking channel style.
