Hi Yukon Bob, that other boat you pointed it out, I think it is an older model of Ranger Tug, an R-21, that has been discontinued. The smallest they make now is an R-23. I agree, they are beautiful boats.

Love the videos, Georgian Bay is best water in Ontario! You should try exploring north of Parry Sound, in areas like Point au Baril, Bying Inlet and the mouth of the French River.

I would recommend launching from waubuno beach in Parry Sound. It is publically owned.

Good to see you back in the water. Do you plan on still doing that Huntsville trip that I recommended, last year: Peninsula Lake, Fairy Lake, Lake Vernon, Mary Lake, and maybe, Lake of Bays?

I was all set to do it yesterday but the the Seadoo tour group called and as I was in the area I rode with them. I will do it soon. Where would you recommend launching from
@MojoPin1983

@@bobsudeyko4088 That all depends which lakes, and which route you would prefer to do. If you would like to do the first four that I listed (which are all connected via the Muskoka River (as well as a canal), then you might want to begin in Peninsula Lake and work westward through Fairy Lake and Lake Vernon, or launch from Lake Vernon, and head east. Peninsula, Fairy, and Vernon are all closely linked, however, Mary Lake is a little out of the way, and access to it requires going through a lock (you would have to determine if it is even open, yet). Also, the Muskoka River ride linking Fairy Lake with Mary Lake would probably take about 45 minutes, given its geographical length, and the speed limit. I would recommend looking at a satellite map, and using your own judgement as to which route you would find most convenient. Lake of Bays, if you were to do it, would probably have to be done on another day, as it is about the size of all of those lakes combined, and isn’t linked to them via any waterway, therefore, requiring another launch. Here is a list of launch sites: www.google.com/maps/d/u/0/viewer?mid=13-v4GR6e8TOvAnFwGIeUWvzasBg&ll=45.15044010949367%2C-79.27037975000002&z=9

@@bobsudeyko4088 As I mentioned in my original comments, last year, before heading to Huntsville, I would recommend trying to book a reservation for supper at either Tall Trees, or The Artisan House (Tall Trees just opened, but The Artisan House might be a few days away from opening). They are incredible restaurants, offering the highest quality dining experience in town, and arguably, all of Muskoka. They are a bit pricey, but well worth the expense, given the quality. You will thoroughly enjoy, either one, if you choose to eat there.

Hello Bob I’ve been huge fan of your videos and now while waiting for my seadoo I’m wondering how do you know which dock is public and which is not ? Can I dock anywhere?

Congrats on the Seadoo. You must be anxious to get out. I use google maps a lot and when I narrow in on the area I want to ride I type in public boat launches in the search bar. I also use this app when searching for marinas. I would also suggest that if you are going to be doing some exploring on bodies of water that you don’t know that you get the Navionics app on your phone. It’s about 32.00 for the year but it’s a great navigation tool and it covers all of North America.

The gypsy moth caterpillars are devastating much of Southeastern Ontario's trees like you said. I'm also one of the unlucky ones that is severely allergic to them and their silk. There little hairs have histamines and can travel through the air. If they touch you, you touch them, their silk or if they are in the air you break out in bumps that are like mosquito bites and rashes. I'm covered head-to-toe in rashes from being at my campground since May. The only thing that sort of helped me with a fairly strong cortisone cream.
