for a broken zipper, a paperclip makes a perfect replacement if you can get it thru the hole, most standard will work, and easily replaceable if lost (for your one tigris cot bag). easy to throw a few in a small pouch in your bag

Believe it or not what I use to clean my pans is the sand and water of a lake. And so what if a pebble or two get in there. Works better than any scratchy ever. When done my pan is shiny and my fingers are clean. A little bit of heat and it's clean and safe to use.
