Check out yet another budget friendly piece of gear in my collection. A new diy ammo can wood burning stove for hot tent camping ! Very exciting stuff with this little guy. (use extreme caution if you do use a stove inside your shelter) . If you have any questions about the stove please feel free to ask in the comment section or message me on my Instagram listed below. Photos also available on my Instagram.Thank you.

So my new program really screwed me over.... some footage got repeated and I'm now thinking about taking the video down and re-doing it....

Just a couple quick things from a know-not so take it for what it is worth ;) #1: You mentioned welding washers to the pipe to guy it out. For folks without a welder , maybe you could use steel 'airplane' wire for the first foot or so and use paracord/dyneema etc to finish the guy out. You could cut a notch into the top of the pipe with a hacksaw/dremel/grinder and smooth the edges with a file. Loops finished with crimped ferrules will act as tie out points for the cord and as a stopper inside the pipe. #2: Also reversing the way the pipes are put together would prevent the creosote from dripping down the outside. -----Cheers!------

Or drill 2 or 3 holes through the top section with wire leaders

You could always drill holes in the stove pipe top and add keyring loops. Then you can use the keyrings to tie off with. If you still had this stove.

Couple more ideas ... how about reversing your male/female pipe set up, make it so the female is up and the male fit into it - allowing the creosote to drip into the fire vs. down the outside of them. Also maybe some stops on the legs at the hinge point to get more angle on them thus making it more sturdy - just a couple thoughts, thanks man these are cool

My man - I’ve been watching several of your video’s and they’re great thank you, lots of good / clever ideas. But I am curious as to why you never use a floored tent ? I’m thinking bc of the stove - but if that’s it couldn’t you use something asbestos like to put under it ?
