I love the smell of coffee, but don't drink the stuff LOL when growing up I'd make a cup of coffee just to dunk my toast into it then left it for a brother or sister to finish it someone always did(there were 7 of us) that water must have been very relaxing to listen to when you went to bed, the quietness and darkness would have put me right as soon as my feet warmed up, I usually have more on my feet and legs than top half sleep better warm feet when feet start feeling cold I wake up fast

I generally do not like garish colors in a natural environment. However I really like the color of that hot tent. It looks great, and it is probably a good color in hunting season. I'm as green as that tent with envy that you are out again and that burger looked to die for. I also like a nice porter, maybe a little too much if the state of my head today is anything to go by. Speaking of the tent what is it, I don't see it listed on the Pomoloy site? The only small Tipi they have listed has the same cowl as the big tents. Loving the channel, take care.

Nice outing once again Jeremy. Don't understand why you didn't bring a chair? especially with your truck being only 50 feet away. I know you had your waxed canvas to sit on. But sitting on a rock or the ground just doesn't look very comfortable. But more power to ya if that doesn't bother you. I remember my first time backpacking and I didn't bring a chair or even think of it. I had to sit on a log. Then I knew how much I wanted to sit down with having a backrest and what a difference it made to me.👍🏕🐺

Lonewolf, I'm really enjoying the time that you put in to get a high production value. Because of this appreciation, I would like to make a suggestion for you. There is a primitive technologies channel that has a very effective approach for worldwide exposure. There isn't much voice on that channel (which isn't my suggestion), but the channel puts effort into explaining procedure of how things are done and why they are done in the captions. While it might have been chosen to give uninterrupted sounds of nature, what I see from it is worldwide reach. The captions are easily translated into other languages. This allows any of people speaking other languages to watch the video IN THEIR OWN LANGUAGE. Also, the captions being used for explanation also becomes an interactive thing when a reader is allowed to keep the captions off so that they try to figure out what is going on, and then they can back the video up and enable captions when they desire. I found myself watching without captions and trying to figure out what each of the pieces he was building would function as, which became a fun problem solving thing.
@Lonewolfwildcamping
@Lonewolfwildcamping 3 жыл бұрын
Thank you very much, I appreciate it. My goal is not to teach however, rather deliver an outdoor experience for those to relax and enjoy. There are many other channels that directly teach and explain. I simply show how I do things and then answer any questions in the comments section to those who are interested. Captions and talking too much destroy this cinematic experience.

I was wondering: what is the legal situation in Canada regarding wild camping. You just hike somewhere, set up the tent and stay the night? Take your saw, pick a tree, cut the tree down and take that as firewood? Just like that? Thats pretty unimaginable here in Europe... forrests are either under state posession or private property. Neither of both allow camping or cutting down a random tree (even if its dead or dry...). Of course there are exceptions, but very very limited... ah well, romantic and wild Canada, land of the free :-)
