The fall colors, woods, sunset over the water and sunrise, truly a 24 hour slice of heaven. Your kit, amazing how much gear in that pack size. I need to learn how to pack more efficient. The hardwood smoke from the stove sent my mind sailing. I could nearly smell it. A definite need for smell-O-vision, lol... Thank you my friend.

Another cool hot tent vid I took your advise till I buy a ti stove is to DIY a 50 cal amo box and see if the hot tent is for me out here in the West coast.Like the way your birch bark fire starter good luck finding a birch tree out my way. I was out 38 km in the bush 2 days ago could of used the wood stove rather a alcohol stove and wet fir camp fire freezing rain but still loving it a bit spooky Skaget valley squatch country lol!! Cheers man.

I just updated my winter B.O.B. - its very similar to your pack but more redundancy and it weighs in at 24 lbs. But I have more food, extra warm clothes and a bivy instead of a sleeping bag, a redundant fire kit, first aid kit, water filter, lighting, and a spare haversack. The vehicle has additional gear but this is good enough to walk around with. But I forgot the tea... "must get tea"! But I do have chicken noodle soup mix.

Do you think a UCO candlier lantern with three beeswax candles with an output of 5000 BTUs be used to heat up the one Tigres hot tent in similar temperature range that you’re in?

I think it could be useful to cut down the damp air but not too sure if it would heat well. The tent has good ventilation to promote clean oxygen for a woodstove and i don't think candles would match the output needed

Do you ever encounter wild animals? and how would you do you deal with them, I’m not tempting fate by the way, but I assume you don’t have a gun with you when you go out in the wilderness.
