I collect the Funko Pops and experiance buyers remorse often. Do not feel too bad, being a geeky collector you have to expect to spend some of the hard earned money. just remember when it is all over..."you can not take it with you when you die"! great video!

I've seen a subscription box for POPS. I think it was pop in a box. you could tell them what was already in your collection so they didn't send you doubles and you could also make a wish list of one's you really wanted as well.

I'm definitely a pop collector. my collection is mostly random based on my likes. but series i have are the fifth element, doctor who, sailor moon, tmnt, nerdy Disney Princesses, pride and prejudice and zombies, and the others tend to be random. Like star wars, marvel, and DC.

Pop in a Box has a great POP tracker. You don't even need to be subscribed to use it. I used it for a few months before deciding to subscribe. It also has a leaderboard with people who have 2,000-3,000 Pops. I have about 75 right now, and it's mostly Star Wars.

I don't have a whole lot of Pop!s and usually go for individual ones I like. However I do have a few of which I have the entire series. I have the full Big Lebowski set and I have the full Babymetal set. And I'm thinking of checking out which robot figurines they have though, since I have, the big Baymax, Robbie The Robot and ordered B9 from Lost In Space last week. And I got Bender in last month's Sci-Fi Block . Robots are cool so I may just start collecting those :D

Oh and to answer your question: I collect the HP collection, the Firefly one and the StarWars. I'm not your typical collector though as I only go for the exclusives or only one of each character (unless there's more than one that I absolutely love)... if that counts me out then I guess I'm not a collector :)

I collect pops as well. Love my Sherlock collection of pops and Harry Potter. Pops costs about 13-15 euro (16/17 dollar) and some exclusives 17 euro (19.50 dollar) so I don't buy them that often. I really love the new HP series though. For the series I really love I try to get all of them, like HP or Sherlock. I also have the complete Friends serie of pops. Other pops I just get the ones I really like.

When it comes to collecting Funko POPs, I try to keep my collection to mainly just Horror related characters. However, I have broken that trend several times. I own some Star Wars, Breaking Bad, Disney, Breakfast Club and several others that have absolutely nothing to do with the Horror genre. Sometimes my rules need to be broken because Funko is so freaking addicting! Haha

I have Over 300 pops. I mainly like to collect characters that i like more then completing a whole set. They are great for getting autographed if you end up meeting the person that played or voiced the character. For example i currently have two autographed pops. One signed by the Nature Boy Ric Flair and another ( Oscar the grouch ) signed by Caroll Spinney ( man that played Big Bird and Oscar the Grouch ) and in August when i go to Wizard World Chicago i plan i getting my Jay from Jay and Silent Bob signed, my Netflix Daredevil signed, my Ash ( army of darkness ) and ( when it comes out in a couple months ) my Green Power Ranger pop signed and thats just from what they announced so far as guests lol. As far as complete sets the closest one i have from a complete set is the Dragon Ball Z ones ( only missing planet arlia vegeta that sadly is valued at over $400.00 ).

I love all of the Harry Potter pops! I myself collect them, I need to get a lot of them from wave 2 so I totally get you! You need to get the exclusive Harry Potter with the sorting hat from Barnes & Noble, its the best one in the series! I started trying to only collect the Game of Thrones pops but now I collect all sorts of series. Mainly Game of Thrones and Harry Potter though. New line that I am trying to collect them all is the Sailor Moon series!

oh at Joe nerd (the store for nerd block) they had a one day sale on GoT stuff. I bought all their Gae of thrones Funko's for 6 dollars a piece. thats Canadian which is more like 5 dollars American. ;) Funko's are generally the same price in Canada as they are in the states. I dont think they caught on as hard here. The one exception is Hottopic here charges 15 dollars each. which is way more expensive the all the other places. Even EB games lowered their price to 12 recently (sometimes cheaper)

The country and the place where i live, we only have game stops. And our game stops are like tiny corner shops with very little to buy from. But when ever i get to go into one, same thing happens, what just happened to you. (Minus the hot cash), And our normal pops are around 15 euros per piece (around 16-17$). Lucky if you ever find any exclusive ones. So yeah, i go nuts. Didn´t mean to, but it just happens. So i get you. I have collected certain funko pop series like Harry Potter, World of warcraft, Aliens, Predators, X-files, some random ones like Horror, sci-fi, animals, mosters ect. Trying to cut of the Funko pops and get more fancier ones. Lets see how that goes lol Subscription boxes have given me a fare share of Star Wars as well, tough i´m not fan of them

I don't collect full series (there are just WAY too many). Usually what I will do is if there is a character I like (like Harley Quinn for instance) then I will collect all the ones they put out of that character. As for a series (like Harry Potter or Doctor Who) I get usually the exclusives. For instance with the Harry Potter series I want to get the TriWizard Harry instead of like the regular Harry. Cause otherwise you'll wind up with hundreds of Pops.

If it isn't a hot topic exclusive you should go to books a million because they have a HUGE selection of funko pops and all of them are 9.99 rather than 12.50. Plus you can get a membership card for 25$ and get 10% every time you purchase. I pay about 9$ for all of mine unless they are cheaper on Amazon

I have full set of orphan black, Bioshock, ghostbusters ( no exclusive ones or Winston on his own as he in the ecto 1 ride) full set of horror dorbz, havr the exclusive marty ( zbox) and doc brown ( lootcrate) also collecting Dr who, back to future, horror, the walking dead, have bloody shaun and zombie ed, Nathan drake, fallout, diablo and tyrael from diablo, alien and predator - also have walking dead minis and a couple of horror classic and Sci fi minis - also have muttley and mean machine ride, dayrl dixon chopper ride too partner collects once upon a time, dc, marvel, game of thrones, fallout, and that's all I can think of Oh and have a few star wars ones - captain phasma, lootcrate Han solo, Bb8 and luke skywalker hoth lol not many ( about 208 funko items which includes pops, minis, dorbz, keychain pops and a couple of mopeez too)

Really didn't want to star buying the HP Pops cause I know they can do like 11 series and I'm going to spend a lot of money....oh well they are really cool. I really like animation and classic movies Pops like Robocop, Predator and American Dad. But I would really like they made James Bond, American Dad, Akira and classic action stars like John McLane from Diehard, Jack from Speed, Rambo, Conan. When Hot Topic does their Hot Cash promotion, you can use the online HotCash codes and order online as many times as you want. And you can easily find the higher value codes online just by Googling them. That way you can buy your Pops! at home and double check to make sure you don't get any doubles. Just a little tip for ya! ;P
