Looks so good! I went back to check the battle damaged face on the 1.0 and it looked like someone used a red marker for the blood. 2.0 is much much improved!

Again, the first high quality review of the Hot Toys figure 💪 awesome, thank you! I have the original and this pre-ordered. I struggle if I need this one 🤔 it is a lot of money... Cowl looks very good without that hatch and dx09 is like 12 years old already. It is in awesome shape with custom cape but how it holds up the next 10-15 years...love my dx09 ❤

Great video! Compared to some of the newer prices I’ve been seeing; $350 for figure and deluxe case was pretty good. Wish I had grabbed a regular edition as well to go with my Batmobile or with the Bat computer that they showed and hopefully release. A lot of positives!! Negatives: boots should have been split cut and I can’t seem to find a photo or even notice when watching scenes texture on the suit, especially mot as much as they chose to do.its how I imagine the suit to look now after 30 plus years in storage with a rough texture.

The box reminds me of the vault which Bruce used to store his Batsuits. Nice. But yes, the box is too big. The diorama is awesome, giving great options for the Joker as well as Batman. The articulation segment was very tense - you're a brave man! Overall, it's a very nice figure, very lifelike, though to my eyes, the previous version does a better job of capturing both Keaton's likeness and the more crude, angular appearance of the cowl.

Hi. I'm Batman '89 fan since I was a little kid (first time I saw it about 30 years ago from now) I don't know what people are complaining about. To me, a new face (except that infamous one) looks more realistic and the suit more movie accurate. I compared the look with a couple of shots. The sculpt really isn't that bad. People usually compare the suit and face look to famous promotional photo taken propably before they started to shot the movie. Of course Keaton has very characteristic mouth, but when he doesn't pouts his lips menacingly, he looks more or less like on that new face sculpt. In that way, DX09 looks more cartoonish and caricatured. It is not a perfect figure, but really not that bad. Not mention there were a few suits seen in the movie and deffinitly a few faces. Keaton had few stunt doubles who can walk and fight in that tight rubber. And what about the shorter ears in the batmobile? OK, I just joking :) But this is what this shitstorm is about. It's funny - 35 years ago people wanted to hang Keaton for playing Batman and now they want to hang a sculptist who in their opinion didn't pay justice to Keaton :) Sorry for my incompetent English. This is so cool looking at the O.G and the new 2.0. The original looks like a younger version of Michael Keaton. Cool how Hot toys can almost show a character age threw time. One Batman 28-31yrs old and the new one 34-45yrs old. Been waiting on this for along time.

the new version is wonderful but there is something that does not convince me, I find the first one more movie accurate. The base instead is something incredible. About the changes I would have also liked a ruined batsymbol, it would have been the best.

I prefer the seemless look of this figure, I hate looking at the visible joint gaps and metals from other brand figures. The accessories are great addition but anyone must be careful in handling since those are so small and may easily get lost.

I see an improvement in head sculpt especially shape, but the suit texture is completely wrong IMO. I can't understand how Hot Toys can make this kind of error when they make it right in the first version 🤦🏻‍♂️

Was going to pre order this in the UK But those face plates are a huge turn off The default one is good, I like that but the smiling beat up face, why smiling? And the open lip face is creepy The extras and diorama are excellent I love the belt details, but the sticks in the cape are a no no. They should have included two capes. So I don't think I'll take the plunge on this The face is the most important part for me, it looks like Keaton but they chose the most bizarre facial poses possible. Really enjoyed the vid my friend Keep it up 🎉

Good review .I wish they didn't mould the shoe to the upper leg so it would have better articulation ,it was never one mould in the movie.. With the sitting down part JAZZINC..is making a seated figure to fit his car and the HT one as well ..I think his price point is around $175.....would be better then trying to get the rubber body in a sitting position.i do like the bigger body build but the old suit is way better texture wise...Catch Ya!!

There are moments depending on the position and lighting where the face plates look good and others where it looks worst than the DX09. Its disappointing to see this looks nothing like the prototype they showed last year. The face on the prototype looked much better and the cape they showed was not the one Im seeing here either. It makes me second guess if I actually want it now.

Fantastic review. I was seriously on the fence trying to get this guy. I already own the DX 09 from the day it was released. I'm happy with it but the articulation as you know is horrible. As soon as I seen the cathedral diorama with the gargoyle and how massive it was. I want it. I really want this figure now. Thanks for the review

The textured suit is not in the film, why would hot toys make a suite that isn't in the 89 or 92 film? This is dreadful, I am gutted as I have one on preorder but it's not even screen accurate. This figure is not a upgrade it's not as accurate as the DX version. Hot toys have blown another optunity yet again..
