Hello! Thanks for the checking out the channel. Today we a review for the Hot Toys Batman Begins Batman 1/6 scale figure. I was super excited to get this figure to add to my other Batman figures. Did this meet my anticipation? Does this figure match up to other Batman Hot Toys? Let’s find out

Some old school tips to make this figure look best: 1. Do the custom cape like you mentioned - bring it around the front. 2. Bow the head as much as possible to "shorten" the neck and give the brood look 3. Loosen (unclasp) the belt and lower it - keep it held together in the back with some tape The cape clip mod is a little more extensive and can be done in a couple ways. Both require cutting the little tabs off the clips though so - just do those little tricks I mentioned first and then go from there if you feel like it.

Yep all those things I plan on doing minus the clips since they don’t bother me as much. Custom cape, belt position and better posing is all I’m doing

Great review! It's a shame that Hot toys has done this figure like 5 times already and still haven't fixed the inaccuracies. We shouldn't have to be shelling out 200$+ for a custom headsculpt and cape when these figures are already expensive enough.

Thanks for the good look. Still on the fence here. I knew it was a pretty straight up reissue and it definitely is disappointing that there weren't any real updates like the cape and cowl. I hope you will do some photos with some posing. Thanks again for the look.

D19 is the best, jus picked mine ⬆️ at f & sons…the normal is too shiny & smaller body hard pass.ill pick ⬆️ the original in a awhile, with the matte fsh…!!!

Great review bro, nice to finally see this in hand. Personally i cant get past the massive inaccuracies. I buy Hot Toys for the likenesses and for the quality, this was just a huge disappointment for me as Batman Begins is my favorite in the trilogy.

I agree, I day 1 ordered this and was super excited. It didn’t help that I got this the same day as Batman Forever and that figure is perfection so the bar was set high and once I opened this i was speechless honestly.

@@SixthScaleReviews I have to film a review on it but words can’t express how breathtaking it is when it came out of the box. I was unwrapping a piece of my childhood. The suit is extremely limiting in regards to articulation but this is something I knew from day 1. Even in museum pose it commands such presence on the shelf. You won’t be disappointed easily a top 10 figure of 2022 for me.

I've kept the first realese of this one MMS13 it was my first Hot Toy back in 2007, and finny ow the cowl is the same jusy a bit thinner, passed on all other realese of this one but might get thisone for the "first night out" look for the same reason the sculpt. Good review.

Since I have the DX19 I’m going to display one of them with the head sculpt not sure which one yet most likely it will be this one since the cowl isn’t super accurate anyway

what happens when a "Marvel Legends" company makes a Batman figure- Hot Toys is just squeezing their license for the TDK line coz probably InArt will make their version obsolete by 2023 - great honest review

As I posted on my Instagram and Collectorfreaks, I wiped the suit down with 91% alcohol and easily got rid of the shine. It instantly made the suit look better. With a new cape and the cape clips redone it will be a keeper. Because there simply isn't any other Begins figure on the market so I am making due with what we got. Maybe someday someone will make a better one.

I only got mine cause it was 98 bucks cause I used points on it that was about to expire. Otherwise the dx 19 and the other ones I have are alot better. I'll probably leave him in the box for a while. Sucks just wish he wouldn't have been so shiny, have rolling eyes, the gun is missing ( which I have many, not the point ) and the cape is gross. But for about 110 shipped its not a total loss for me

For that price it is hard to pass to add a Batman to the collection. This was a day 1 I paid off back when I was day 1 preordering alot more then I do now so I road it out. I am going to swap the cape and call it a day so it's more fitting the body and that will be enough for me. When collecting sometimes your going to get a big "L" but compared to the amount of awesome figures I have I can live with this one.

Great review dude! Very fair but also pointed out the flaws when needed. The lighting is much better in your review than many photos that we have seen so I appreciate that. I hope the custom cape makes this figure much more enjoyable for you

Yep I agree, I saw someone recommend rubbing alcohol to take away the shine and I’m not doing that to a $300 figure. I’m going to get a new drape cape and have it closed so you don’t see the suit as it was in the movie

@@mr.momcollectibles yeah someone recommended it to me and I mentioned it in our convo on my video but I understand your hesitation, and not sure I’m gonna go that far myself. The dude who did it to his and recommended it to me took a photo of it though and it looks great. But as many others have said, if you pay full retail for this guy it’s about $300 after all said and done, and at that price there should be no modifications needed whatsoever.

Which custom drape cape did you order? I saw the Jaxon version on 1/6 kit but it does not appear as long as I wanted . Need to get a new cowl to go with this too - more money down the drain. 😢
